4pm This is a big game for the two automatically promoted clubs from the Championship last season, however it is Newcastle who have adjusted to life in the Premier League better at the start of the season. The match odds at the time of writing currently stand at; Brighton 2.84, Newcastle 2.96 and the draw is 3.2.
It was a rocky start for Newcastle losing their first two games, however they’ve now won three on the bounce and found themselves in fourth position before this weekend’s action. Brighton have really struggled to score goals, and if they can’t improve this area it seems they are likely to go down. They look short in the market at 2.84.
Newcastle did the double over them last season and they certainly offer value at around the 2.96 mark. With Brighton struggling in front of goal and having home advantage, we might see a low scoring game – under 2.5 goals is currently only 1.63 though and that looks too short to back. We’re happy to take a chance and go for the Newcastle win – they look the most likely winners and we feel that should be favourites.
