PREVIEW

After booking their place in the last 16 of the Champions League on Tuesday evening, Arsenal return to domestic action looking to put the disappointing home league result against Fulham behind them. With three points at the Emirates tomorrow, the Gunners have a chance to break into the top four for the first time this season.

A run of seven wins in nine games has seen the Gunners move into the European places, but a top four finish will only do by the end of the campaign. Arsene Wenger chose to rest a number of key players for the midweek European defeat to Olympiacos, but Gunners fans can expect a far more familiar starting XI for Everton’s visit.

Robin Van Persie was instrumental in Arsenal’s 4-0 defeat of Wigan last weekend and the Dutchman rounded off the scoring with the final goal to take his tally to 18 for the season.

Before Everton’s 1-0 loss at the Britannia, David Moyes’ side were making steady progress up the table. However, the Toffees have been inconsistent away from Goodison Park and have won three and lost three of their previous six away league games. Fulham’s surprise point a few weeks back at the Emirates looks like a blip and with a full strength side once more, I expect Arsenal to get the three points.

RECOMMENDATION: (1-10 points)

Back Arsenal at around 1.57: 6 points
