INTERNATIONAL FRIENDLIES: We preview tonight’s International Friendlies with a recommended BETDAQ bet including GERMANY v BRAZIL and ENGLAND v ITALY.
RUSSIA V FRANCE
4.50pm Another night of big glamour friendlies, and hopefully we can find a few winners! After Brazil beat Russia 3-0 on Friday, it’s now time for France to get some experience of Russia ahead of the World Cup in the summer. We felt that Russia could put up more of a fight against Brazil, however they were disappointing and while France did lose a two goal lead against Colombia in Paris on Friday, they should win here. Russia have simply been making too many mistakes at the back, however you could easily say the same thing about France recently too. We expect plenty of goals here, and with over 2.5 goals trading 2.06 – we’re happy to start the evening with that as our best bet.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Over 2.5 goals at 2.06.

GERMANY V BRAZIL
7.45pm Germany have had two very good friendlies this week to get an idea what’s required heading into the World Cup. Ok; so the intensity is a little lower than usually in these games, however playing Spain and Brazil just before a World Cup is very good planning. They could only manage a 1-1 draw against Spain on Friday night, and we expect this to be a very similar affair, quite cagey and very tight. The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Germany 2.7, Brazil 2.84 and the draw is 3.5. We have to say that the draw is very appealing at 3.5 – it’s hard to see either side really going for it if we have a draw after 60 minutes, and we expect this game to be very close. The draw looks too big at 3.5.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Draw at 3.5.

ENGLAND V ITALY
8pm While many teams are using this window to prepare for the World Cup, it must be tough for the sides who aren’t going to Russia this summer. They really are only going through the motions, and that’s probably the best way to describe Italy at the moment. This is a fantastic chance for England to record another win after beating the Netherlands on Friday night, and with home advantage they look a good price to do so. At the time of writing, England are trading 2.22, while Italy are 3.95 and the draw is 3.3. England have been impressive at the back lately, and have now kept five clean sheets in a row – they have a good record in Wembley too and with Italy having nothing to play for, we’re happy to back England at 2.22.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
England to beat Italy at 2.22.

SPAIN V ARGENTINA
8.30pm This is a very interesting clash to end the night. Both sides have met big sides already in this break, with Spain playing Germany and Argentina meeting Italy (who aren’t in good form at the moment in has to be said). It will be interesting to see who comes out on top here, albeit the intensity levels will be lower than usual. Spain have an excellent record at home, and while Argentina were able to get the job done against Italy without Messi, we can’t see the same happening here. Spain are certainly a few levels above Italy at the moment and with the hosts trading 2.14 against an aging Argentinean side we’re happy to back that.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Spain to beat Argentina at 2.14.
