MULLINS LOOKS STRONG AT TRAMORE: The Tramore August Racing Festival concludes on Sunday with Willie Mullins holding several strong chances on the card.
Willie Mullins has several strong chances at Tramore this afternoon not least of which Karl Der Grosse in the opening maiden hurdle. He made a pleasing debut in France at Vichy when third and Ruby Walsh rides in preference to the stables other runner Sweet Flight.
Sweet Flight won a bumper on debut at Wexford and clearly has potential but the class runner might be Karl Der Grosse.
Gordon Elliott has saddled nine winners from his last 27 runners so his representatives here Silver Star and Star Maker also have to enter calculations. Silver Star was disappointing last time but the soft ground may have gone against him and I can see him chasing home the favourite on this quicker surface.
