UEFA NATIONS LEAGUE: We preview Tuesday’s UEFA Nations League matches between PORTUGAL v POLAND and SCOTLAND v ISRAEL with recommended BETDAQ bets.
PORTUGAL V POLAND
7.45pm We had a couple of games last night where the Group positions were locked in before kick off and this is another game – Portuagl have already topped Group A3 with a draw away to Italy on Saturday night and Poland are assured of relegation. Poland have been very poor all year – they had a disastrous World Cup after going into it as one of the top seeds and now this is their last chance to win a game in Group A3.
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Portugal 1.63, Poland 6.8 and the draw is 4.1. Portugal have been rock solid at the back for a while now; they based their Euro 2016 win on a good defence and it’s hard to see Poland winning here. We saw a thriller between the sides when Poland had home advantage but Portugal ran out 3-2 winners and now with Portugal having home advantage we can’t see past a home win here. Poland need to improve on their recent form to trouble this Portugal side and the 1.63 looks too big.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Portugal to beat Poland at 1.63.

SCOTLAND V ISRAEL
7.45pm What a massive game! It’s been a while since Scotland could celebrate anything and topping Group C1 and gaining promotion would certainly end a poor year on a high. Both these sides sit on six points and Scotland having home advantage is massive because you know the atmosphere will be electric. They come into this game full of confidence after a 4-0 win away to Albania on Saturday night – that was massive because if they lost they could have ended up being relegated and now here they are with a chance to win the Group.
Scotland are odds on favourites with the match odds at the time of writing currently trading; Scotland 1.8, Israel 5.3 and the draw is 3.7. Scotland were leading 1-0 but Israel were able to come back and beat them 2-1 in the second half when the sides met previously in this Group and we’re bound to have a close game here. Looking at the stats, home advantage is massive for Scotland – they are unbeaten in their last seven competitive games here; although they have lost a lot of friendlies recently. Israel lost 3-0 away to Northern Ireland recently and we have seen that they have been poor this year – they also lost 1-0 away to Albania. Looking at those results and Scotlands home form, we have to back a Scotland win here at 1.8.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Scotland to beat Israel at 1.8.
