CHAMPIONS LEAGUE TUESDAY: We preview Tuesday’s Champions League action with the games between JUVENTUS V ATLETICO MADRID and MANCHESTER CITY V SCHALKE both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
JUVENTUS V ATLETICO MADRID
8pm We seen some wonderful comebacks in the Champions League last week, and Juventus will be hoping for another one here! However, last week involved PSG and Real Madrid – and PSG are known for being a little weak under pressure and Real Madrid are having a poor season. Coming from two goals down against Atletico Madrid is a totally different matter; their record at the back is ultra impressive and they will be set up perfectly tonight to defend for their lives.
Juventus are odds on nonetheless with the match odds at the time of writing currently trading; Juventus 1.76, Atletico Madrid 5.8 and the draw is 3.75. We have to say that Juventus feel very short at 1.76 – Atletico totally bossed the second half in the first leg and although Juventus now enjoy home advantage, it’s hard to see how they should be 1.76. Atletico have only conceded 17 goals in La Liga this season and their record in the Champions League is second to none too. We feel Atletico will be superbly set up here for the job at hand and we’re happy to lay Juventus at 1.76.

MANCHESTER CITY V SCHALKE
8pm If this game is half as exciting as the first leg we are in for a treat! We had huge drama and market swings in the first leg with City coming back from 2-1 down with ten men to win 3-2 and now they’re in a great position heading into this tie. Schalke have been having a very poor season and it was surprising how well they played in the first leg; away from home now we may see a different game altogether and it’s hard to see anything but a City win here. The markets agree with City heavy odds on favourites.
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Manchester City 1.18, Schalke 23.0 and the draw is 9.0. While City are trading as short as 1.02 in the ‘To Qualify’ market. Schalke have conceded goals for fun in Germany this season and an early goal for City here could see the floodgates open. They have been grinding out results in the Premier League lately however they did score three at the weekend. We can see City putting Schalke to the sword here and we like Any Other Home Win (City to score four or more and win) at 2.9 in the Correct Score market.
