EURO 2020 QUALIFIERS: We preview Sunday’s games between WALES V SLOVAKIA, NETHERLANDS V GERMANY and NORTHERN IRELAND V BELARUS all with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
WALES V SLOVAKIA
2pm Another action packed day of the Euro 2020 Qualifiers awaits and we start with Wales hosting Slovakia. Wales warmed for this clash with an unimpressive 1-0 win over Trinidad & Tobago although they waited until injury time to score the winner. A draw would have been an embarrassing result however it’s hard to read too much into these warm up friendlies. Slovakia struggled in the Nations League but Wales won two and lost two in their Group below them – so we expect a good game here.
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Wales 2.22, Slovakia 3.85 and the draw is 3.3. Slovakia finished bottom of Group B1 in the Nations League with only one win in four games against Ukraine and Czech Republic. Wales finished second in a Group with the Republic Of Ireland but we feel that with home advantage here, Wales are worth backing at 2.22. Slovakia are already on the board for Euro 2020 Qualifying with a win over Hungary but they aren’t as strong away from home and Wales look ten ticks too big at 2.22.

NETHERLANDS V GERMANY
7.45pm This is undoubtedly the highlight of the week in Euro 2020 Qualifying and it will be very interesting to see who comes out on top. The Netherlands were impressive in the Nations League, especially considering that they have missed the last two major tournaments and Germany look like a team in transition now. Obviously we have a lot of recent form to go on here with both sides being in the same Nations League Group, and Netherlands beat Germany 3-0 here and managed to get a 2-2 draw away from home.
We have an open market with the match odds at the time of writing currently trading; Netherlands 2.52, Germany 2.84 and the draw is 3.6. Given that Germany couldn’t beat the Netherlands in their two Nations League games very recently, they look a good lay here at 2.84 away from home. They just haven’t replaced the top players who have left the side in recent years and we expect their slide to continue. Netherlands bossed the game in the Nations League here and Germany look way too short at 2.84.

NORTHERN IRELAND V BELARUS
7.45pm Northern Ireland would have been gutted to get drawn in a Group with Germany and the Netherlands but they got off to a good start on Thursday night with a home win. With Germany playing Netherlands tonight too, they have a great chance to get involved early at the top of the table for qualification and they have an excellent chance to get another three points here. Belarus shipped four goals away to Netherlands on Thursday night and they look there for the taking away from home.
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Northern Ireland 1.82, Belarus 5.1 and the draw is 3.25. Belarus were unbeaten in their Nations League Group, however they were playing Luxembourg, Moldova and San Marino – anything another than unbeaten would have been poor. Northern Ireland are a few levels above Belarus and it’s surprising to see them as big as 1.82. They have a very good home record and we expect than to continue – we feel the 1.82 is at least ten ticks too big and worth backing.
