9/4 WINNING NAP: SHAMROCK landed a 9/4 winning nap from his ONLY BET on Friday when Bercasa stormed home by 13 lengths at Ballinrobe. He bids to follow up at Naas this afternoon.
Impressive 13 length victory for yesterday’s NAP Bercasa at Ballinrobe.
Back to the flat on Saturday for a good card at Naas featuring two Group 3 races.
The nap on the card for me is the Aidan O’Brien trained Magical in the Alleged Stakes at 4.35pm.
The four-year-old is the highest rated in the race and is having her first start since chasing home Enable in the Breeders’ Cup Turf at Churchill Downs in November.
She had previously won the Group 1 Qipco British Champions Fillies & Mares Stakes at Ascot and dropping two rungs down the class ladder should prove hard to beat at Group 3 level. She seems versatile ground wise.
The biggest danger may come from the Jessica Harrington trained Still Standing who had plenty in hand when winning the Listed Devoy Stakes over course and distance last month.
