NAP WINS EVENS: SHAMROCK landed his NAP at Gowran Park last night with Anya Yilna who won at evens. He heads to Fairyhouse tonight in a bid to follow up.
A really good result on Wednesday night when the nap Anya Kilner won at Gowran Park. She was sent off at evens and in the end won really well by 4 1/4 lengths.
Thursday’s racing comes from Limerick and Fairyhouse.
The best bet of the night should come at Fairyhouse in the final fillies maiden at 8:30pm.
There are already five non-runners in this race and it now looks an easy opportunity for the Dermot Weld-trained Search For A Song to win on her racecourse debut.
She is well bred and is out of a mare who has produced plenty of winners. Of those who have run, the Jessica Harrington trained Xcite has the best form. She showed some ability on debut at Gowran Park and returned to the course earlier this month when she was only pipped a short head by her stable companion Fancy Feat.
That was a really encouraging effort and she should be suited by the extra distance tonight.
The BETDAQ market however is very strong on the chances of Search For A Song and this could prove a very significant indicator in a race where we haven’t got too much to go on.
Tomorrow I will be looking at the Oaks at Epsom where there is a strong Irish challenge headed by the Aidan O’Brien trained Pink Dogwood who has come in for plenty of support in the BETDAQ market today.
On Saturday Aidan O’Brien has seven of the 13 runners in Derby. The stable last won the race in 2017 with 40/1 outsider Wings Of Eagles.
