It looks a match up between the Aidan O’Brien trained Dunkirk Harbour and the Mick Halford first time out winner Simsir who is preferred.
Dunkirk Harbour has an official rating of 101 and goes well here at Dundalk but is up against a likely big improver in Simsir who only had to be pushed out by hands and heels to win going away on debut at Cork.
A 25/1 shot that day, he beat his better fancied stable companion Hazran and he looks a very exciting prospect.
Dunkirk Harbour sets the bar quite high and whilst he has the form he might find the 7lb concession to the likely big improver too much to cope with.
