FAIRYHOUSE FINAL RACE NAP: SHAMROCK’S NAP on Tuesday runs in the 3.25 at Fairyhouse.
Fairyhouse’s meeting on Tuesday concludes with a beginners chase and a chance is taken with the Paul Gilligan trained Glamorgan Duke.
The six-year-old put in a good shift at Galway last time out in a race much better than this one. He was a 25/1 chance but did better than those odds implied when third to the impressive winner Battleoverdoyen who looks destined for the top grade this season.
There’s nothing that particularly stands out in opposition. The BETDAQ market is headed by Six Ver Klass who made a pleasing debut over fences when third at Galway but there is no guarantee that the Tony Martin trained runner will be suited by the longer trip here.
One that I do think can run well is Denham Hana who hasn’t got too many miles on the clock and hails from the Paul Nolan stable that are in good form.
Denham Hana was a winner over this trip over hurdles on heavy ground in March so gets a tick in the stamina department and that can’t be said for a lot of them here.
