LIMERICK NAP: SHAMROCK is staying in Ireland today for a NAP on the late afternoon card at Limerick. The NAP runs in the Listed Martin Molony Stakes at 7.05pm.
Really poor run from Mogul at Royal Ascot on Tuesday.
Hopefully better luck at home on Wednesday. They race at Gowran and Limerick where the feature race is the Martin Molony Stakes at 7.05pm over a mile and a half.
Just the quintet go to post but it still looks very competitive with even the outsider, the only non four-year-old in the race, Oriental Eagle having a squeak.
Preference though has to go to the Mick Halford trained Simsir who has already shown good form but should be even better over this longer trip.
He won his latest start in February at Meydan and has his first turf start in Ireland tonight since he made a winning debut at 25/1 at Cork.
