ROSCOMMON NAP FOR SHAMROCK: Wednesday’s SHAMROCK NAP runs in the 6.40 at Roscommon.
Hopefully a winner for BETDAQ ambassador Gavin Cromwell tonight with Mutadaffeq in the 2m 5f handicap hurdle at 6.40pm.
The seven-year-old has only won once previously over hurdles but could easily be well handicapped again as he comes here on the back of an excellent win on the flat at the Curragh on Guineas day when he got up on the line to beat Jerandme in a blanket finish.
He is clearly in good heart and this looks quite a modest event with many of his main market rivals out of form currently.
They include Quamino who drops in class but has been a beaten favourite in his last two starts over hurdles and was well beaten in two subsequent starts over fences.
The reserve runner Global Fert is interesting but has something to find with the selection on chase form from earlier in the year.
