MATCH OVERVIEW:
St Kitts & Nevis Patriots take on the Guyana Amazin Warriors in the final game at the Queen’s Park Oval before the tournament heads back to the Brian Lara Stadium. Batting has been tough the whole competition, but Jamaica really showed how to approach this wicket last night. They finished with 147/6 in a slow and steady approach that won the game. St Kitts were bowled out of 110 trying to chase, and after being involved in that game surely St Kitts will learn a lot. Whether they can do it is another thing!
Guyana have been very disappointing this season. They were never going to have the record that they managed last season, winning all their games apart from the final, however they find themselves second bottom and if they lose this one then they are in huge trouble to even reach the playoffs. It’s been a big fall from grace. They haven’t batted well enough and they’ve scores 108/9 and 112/7 in their second two games batting first here. They too could really learn something from the Jamaica approach last night.
WEATHER AND PITCH WATCH:
Once again we can expect some very tough batting conditions, with anything over 130 being a good score in the first innings. We have had some really low scores batting first here and both sides have batted poorly in the tournament – hence their position in the table. I think we can expect more low scores and poor batting from these two. Don’t rule out a collapse chasing a low score.
RECOMMENDED BET:
Even the captain was very disappointed with the St Kitts batting last night. He said that they kept doing “the same mistakes again and again” that has been their tournament really. Perhaps after strong words that can improve here but the reality is they just haven’t put it together yet. Guyana have struggled too, and while I wouldn’t be confident on either side here, I believe Guyana have enough to beat this St Kitts side because they have a strong bowling line-up. On a tough wicket they should prove the difference, but keep stakes low.
The Edge Says:
One point win Guyana Amazon Warriors to beat St Kitts & Nevis Patriots at 1.63 with BETDAQ Exchange.

IN-RUNNING STRATEGY:
Batting conditions have usually framed the trading strategy in the late games with plenty of wickets and it’s been very difficult for batting. I would expect low scores again here with two sides that have struggled to bat well. They start the game bottom and second bottom in the table so I expect a pretty low standard here.
I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see a very low scoring game, with the chasing team failing to reach an under par target. A first innings score of 125 would make for a very interesting game given how the sides have batted in the tournament! Jamaica really showed everyone the blueprint last night, but do they have the quality to do that?
