LA LIGA: Our European football tipster The Ultra previews the start of La Liga on Saturday. Recommended BETDAQ bets for EIBAR v CELTA VIGO, GRANADA v ATHLETIC BILBAO and CADIZ v OSASUNA.

EIBAR V CELTA VIGO
3pm The new La Liga season starts on Saturday and with all bets 0% commission on BETDAQ we have every opportunity to make some profit! We kick off the new season with Eibar hosting Celta Vigo. Both these sides were towards the bottom of La Liga last season, with Celta Vigo drawing away to Espanyol on the final day to stay up. They had a better goal difference to Leganes, but it just shows what level they were at last season. Eibar weren’t far away from them sitting in 14th only five points ahead.
Eibar look cracking value here at 2.62. These two are very limited and average sides, they will more than likely be towards the bottom of the La Liga table again this season. However, the key today is Eibar have an excellent home record while Celta Vigo really struggle away from home. It’s the ideal day to back Eibar and the odds are good value too. Eibar won eight of their 19 home games, while Celta Vigo only managed two wins in 19 away games. Eibar are rock solid at home and I’d have them closer to 2.3 to win here.

GRANADA V ATHLETIC BILBAO
5.30pm This game was going to start the season on Friday night, however it then got moved to Saturday. The good news is we now get 0% commission on it with BETDAQ! I have to say, I’m surprise Atheltic Bilbao are favourites at 2.88 here. They were woeful away from home last season, and with the short summer break I feel like we should see a lot of form carry over into the new season. Granada managed to qualify for Europe when finishing 7th last season and have been generally strong at home.
These two actually met on the final weekend with Granada having home advantage too. They ran out very comfortable 4-0 winners – that’s why it’s so surprising to see them at 3.0 to win today. After all, that was only a month ago. xG says that they were full value for the win too, although not quite four goal winners. Bilbao only created an xG of 0.64. It’s rare to have three point bets on something trading 3.0, but this looks like a cracking value bet and I’m happy to have it. 0% commission on BETDAQ is a nice bonus!

CADIZ V OSASUNA
8pm We have another very open market here, with all three outcomes not far away from 3.0. Cadiz came up from the Segunda mostly because of their exceptionally strong defensive record. They only conceded 39 goals in 42 games. That’s very good for that level, and it will be very interesting to see how they cope with La Liga. Osasuna finished in the top half of La Liga last season with a 10th place finish, which is excellent for them and they’ll be hoping to try stay there, if not better it perhaps.
This game scream low scoring on paper, but it looks like the market has that priced in with under 2.5 goals as low at 1.53. You can understand why with Cadiz record at the back along with Osasuna not being the best attacking team. I need to see more from Cadiz before investing heavily, but I think the draw is worth a small play here at the odds. 3.05 is good value in what should be a very tight game with few chances created.
