FINLAND V REPUBLIC OF IRELAND

5pm We have a massive evening of Nations League action ahead and we kick off with Finland hosting the Republic of Ireland! In what came as a shock to the betting markets, Finland beat Ireland in Dublin in September. Ireland have yet to record a win in the Nations League, finishing last in their Group in 2019 and only managing two draws this time around. There is optimism in the camp since Stephen Kenny took over but there’s still a huge lack of quality in the squad. That’s not going to change overnight.

Ireland did well to draw with Slovakia in their European Playoff last week, they created the best chances but the final shot was always tame. They really lack a talented goal scorer. And perhaps it was a reality check for Ireland that Scotland went and beat Slovakia a couple of days later. We can expect a very cagey game here, just like in Dublin, but the market is expecting that with under 2.5 goals trading 1.5. Backing the draw has proven very profitable in Ireland games and I’m happy to back it again here at 3.1.

The Ultra Says:
One point win Draw at 3.1 with BETDAQ Exchange.

ITALY V NETHERLANDS

7.45pm Group A1 has been excellent thus far. After three games there’s only one point between Italy, Netherlands and Poland. These two sides are better than Poland, and the result tonight will probably decide who goes to the Nations League Finals. Netherlands have been on an upward curve in recent years after missing out on the last two major tournaments – they are heading to Euro 2020 (or 2021), however Italy managed to beat them 1-0 away from home easier in the Group.

Both sides could only draw 0-0 at the weekend. With Italy away to Poland and Netherlands away to Bosnia & Herzegovina. It’s actually hasn’t been a good run for Netherlands, as they lost a friendly to Mexico 1-0 before that, and then with Italy beating them that’s three games without a win now. Italy are a tempting bet at 2.04 here, but I expect another very close game without many chances between these sides. Under 2.5 goals is trading 1.84 and that looks ten ticks too big.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Under 2.5 goals at 1.84 with BETDAQ Exchange.

ENGLAND V DENMARK

7.45pm England put themselves in a superb position in Group A2 by beating Belgium on Sunday and they can follow that up with another win here. Denmark managed to keep England to a 0-0 draw when they had home advantage in September but now that England are in Wembley I really like the 1.74. Denmark play at a good standard, but they aren’t in the same league as this England squad – even allowing for their recent troubles on and off the pitch. At the back, it’s quite simple – Harry Maguire has to improve.

Denmark finished second in their European qualifying Group behind Switzerland and ahead of Ireland. It was a very weak Group to be honest, and they could only manage two 1-1 draws with a very poor Ireland side. They will try to frustrate England and we will more than likely see a pretty close game, but I expect England to grind out a win and 1.74 is more than ten ticks too big.

The Ultra Says:
Four points win England to beat Denmark at 1.74 with BETDAQ Exchange.

NORWAY V NORTHERN IRELAND

7.45pm Northern Ireland are still searching for their first Nations League win. They battled hard, as they always do, but came up short at home to Austria on Sunday. They lost every game in 2019, and now they have only one point from three games in this Nations League. They might not worry too much considering they have a European Playoff to look forward to; but they need to turn around their Nations League form pretty quick.

It’s hard to see them getting a result to this Norway side, who should outclass this Northern Ireland side. Norway brushed them aside very easily away from home, running out 5-1 winners in a game they completely bossed. Northern Ireland like to keep games very tight, with as little goals as possible. You see 1-1 draws, like they recorded in the European Playoff last week. Norway were so impressive away in Northern Ireland, I can’t see past them tonight. The 1.45 is worth backing.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Norway to beat Northern Ireland at 1.45 with BETDAQ Exchange.

SCOTLAND V CZECH REPUBLIC

7.45pm After a run of very bad results and bitterly disappointing nights, Scotland are having a great run at the moment. They currently top their Nations League Group after beating Slovakia 1-0 at the weekend, while they came through their European Playoff semi-final last week. They will surely be full of confidence coming into this game, but Czech Republic will be a very tough test for them. Czech Republic have been playing at a much higher level than Scotland, with Scotland coming up to Group B from Group C in 2019, and Czech Republic finishing second in European qualifying behind England.

There’s never many chances in Scotland games, unless they are facing a side below them and then they tend to open up. I’d expect a very cagey game here, with Scotland being happy with a draw and holding onto top position. I think they can get a result too. Czech Republic had a very poor record away from home in their European qualifying Group – they actually beat England with home advantage, but lost away to Kosovo and Bulgaria. With Scotland in a confident mood, they can get a result – I’m happy to lay Czech Republic at the odds.

The Ultra Says:
Two points lay (liability) Czech Republic to beat Scotland at 2.38 with BETDAQ Exchange.

BULGARIA V WALES

7.45pm We finish a massive evening of action with Bulgaria hosting Wales. Bulgaria are under pressure in Group B4 as they currently sit last with only one point from three games. They drew at home to Ireland, in what could be the fixture to relegate them, although they will fancy their chances of beating Ireland even away from home. Since that opening draw, they have lost away from home to Wales and Finland. Wales will be without their star man Gareth Bale, which is clearly impacting them going forward.

Wales are still top of the Group, and they will fancy their chances of staying there – especially with Bale coming back from injury very soon. Wales didn’t create much against Ireland in a very boring game; however I accept Ireland make games boring. That being said, I still feel Wales are a little short here at 2.16 given what they have been creating lately. The draw is worth a small investment for me at 3.1.

The Ultra Says:
One point win Draw at 3.1 with BETDAQ Exchange.
