PUNCHESTOWN SATURDAY NAP: SHAMROCK’s best bet on the Saturday card at Punchestown runs in the 1.25pm.
An early start at Punchestown on Saturday at 11.45am, but for me the best bet on the card comes in the 1.25.
Dark Voyager was sent off favourite on his jumping debut at Ballinrobe and although beaten into second by Zanahiyr it was still a run full of promise and the first two finished 42 lengths clear of the third!
The Willie Mullins trained runner was a winner at the Galway Festival on the flat on soft ground and should have too much class for his rivals here.
Joseph O’Brien runs two debutants Flying Scotsman and Druid’s Altar who were both similarly rated on the flat but the market and jockey suggests the former is the first choice here.
