NEWCASTLE V LIVERPOOL
8pm We finish 2020 with Newcastle hosting Liverpool with the market fully expecting a Liverpool win. They are trading as short as 1.33 at the time of writing, and it’s hard to argue given Newcastle have been pretty poor this season. They have improved on last season, but they are still a poor side. Liverpool threw away two points as they could only draw 1-1 with West Brom on Sunday conceding a late goal. They haven’t been as good as they were last season, but I still feel that they will lift the title again. It’s an odd season behind closed doors for a lot of the time, but they look a class above everyone else.
Newcastle haven’t had a good run into Christmas and after with three losses and a draw from four games. They were disappointing when losing to Championship side Brentford in the Carabao Cup and they were battered 5-2 by Leeds. They kept the score reasonable against City but City ran out easy 2-0 winners. Klopp will be annoyed by the late West Brom goal and I’s expect a reaction here. Liverpool can cover the handicap and the 1.81 is worth backing to cover the 1.5 goal handicap.
The Striker Says:
One point win Liverpool -1.5 goals to beat Newcastle at 1.81 on BETDAQ Betting Exchange
