JONATHAN HOBBS: All-open race cards at both Crayford and Monmore whet the appetite for major races to come, with trial stakes at Crayford for the Ladbrokes Golden Jacket and Peter Bussey Memorial and trial stakes at Monmore for the Ladbrokes Winter Derby and Ladbrokes Puppy Derby.

Greyhound racing fans are loving the action tonight. All-open race cards at both Crayford and Monmore whet the appetite for major races to come, with trial stakes at Crayford for the Ladbrokes Golden Jacket and Peter Bussey Memorial and trial stakes at Monmore for the Ladbrokes Winter Derby and Ladbrokes Puppy Derby. And a host of major names are put through their paces.

Eyes down then for the best races at both Crayford (RPGTV) and Monmore (SIS) with recommended plays on the BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

Crayford

7.31: Ricky Holloway has the major hand here with Grand National finalist Roxholme Biscuit and Nomansland Flyer. The latter gets an interesting wide draw which should help, but doesn’t quite handle the turns at the Kent venue as well as his kennelmate.

Play: Roxholme Biscuit

7.48: Bo Shine Bullet could be anything and the manner of her victory last week suggests the double might well be on. She has be supported just second time up in the UK, although a middle move early on could give Ballymac Cloud a chance to dictate terms.

Play: Bo Shine Bullet
Alternative: Ballymac Cloud

8.04: Ballynabee Lucky, with a best time of 23.15sec over C&D, could enjoy the switch back to Crayford. He showed plenty of pace at Romford and a midfield pitch works best for him in a 380m contest where the impressive Nans Tom could make the market.

Play: Ballynabee Lucky

8.19: A fantastic 714m contest and warm up for the Golden Jacket where Redzer Renae and Micks Little Gem ooze power and could expose any chinks in the armour of Aayamza Lexie. The latter step up in trip but was certainly not stopping over 540m last week.

Play: Aayamza Lexie

8.34: Another Golden Jacket trial stakes now where Avastorm could take some holding. She has looked good in comeback trials and has run well previously over the trip, with in-form Fizz and Emotional definitely making the market for the Wallis runner.

Play: Avastorm

8.53: A 540m contest now where Nightingale Don catches the eye. A recent trial can be improved on, although expect opposition to the Mullins runner given lack of a run here. Fitenwell could cut loose, but the orange jacket might always be in touch to strike.

Play: Nightingale Don

Monmore

6.17: Ice Of Diamonds could kick off the Monmore action in the best possible style for favourite backers. Jimmy Fenwick’s dog could run wide but his all-round pace should be too much for these, although expect a solid run from newcomer Toast Of Sydney.

Play: Ice Of Diamonds

6.33: It could be a good night for the Patrick Janssens camp with Lenson Doolin looking to uphold the Towcester Puppy Derby form. He has trialled well and might get away here, although Westway Blake has been unbeatable at Swindon, posting some good clocks too.

Play: Lenson Doolin

7.07: Another Janssens youngster Puff The Tiger could take the beating. He also showed great pace during the Towcester Puppy Derby and a slick exit from stripes might put these under pressure, including the strong and talented likely favourite Cold As Ice.

Play: Puff The Tiger

7.24: Bockos Belly has looked an above-average sort and could show his class in this puppy event, but might be short enough given the speed of some of the opposition here. One For Gold and Dillymore Danny are both good early-pacers and might get away.

Play: One For Gold/Dillymore Danny

8.03: Holdem Lauren ran better at Perry Barr than the formline suggests and she looks to have a plum draw here. Carol Weatherall’s bitch has a slower starter next door in Look Like Power and might scoot clear at a track she boasts a decent record at.

Play: Holdem Lauren

Pick of the other races is obviously Produce champion Queen Jessiej (8.43) versus Romford Puppy Cup hero Tenpin, with marginal preference for the former given her form at Monmore last year.

Kennelmate King Drake (9.02) could also be on the mark for the McNairs in the sprint.

Good luck all.
