BUNDESLIGA / SERIE A / LA LIGA PREVIEW: Our European football tipster The Ultra previews Sunday’s games between RB LEIPZIG V EINTRACHT FRANKFURT, CAGLIARI V JUVENTUS and SEVILLA V REAL BETIS all with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

RB LEIPZIG V EINTRACHT FRANKFURT

2.30pm Another interesting Sunday in Europe and some excellent markets on BETDAQ Betting Exchange to get stuck into. Of course, we have an excellent week ahead with all bets 0% commission during the Cheltenham Festival too! We have a top quality game to start the day too as RB Leipzig take on Eintracht Frankfurt. RB Leipzig crashed out of the Champions League midweek with another 2-0 loss against Liverpool, but they are on Bayern Munich’s tails in the Bundesliga and they have been playing some quality domestic football. Frankfurt did have a spell where they challenged at the top of the table but they fell right off the pace afterwards and they start this fixture ten points behind RB Leipzig. They sit in the top four, and that should be their main aim this season – they have Bayer Leverkusen and Dortmund right on their heels though.

This should be a high quality fixture, Frankfurt managed to beat Bayern Munich in late February, however they played Bayern at a good time after they had a very busy spell in the UEFA World Club Cup. They have been unlucky to drop points since, especially with their 1-1 draw against Stuttgart last weekend as they created enough to win the game. I have to say that if I was to pick a winner, I would pick RB Leipzig, but I can’t have them at 1.88. I expected them to be odds against when I clicked into the market and from a value point of view I have to lay those odds. I know they have been in great form and they’re playing very well at the moment, but Frankfurt are no mugs either and their xG figures are impressive. I expect a close game, and while the draw is tempting, I’m happy to lay Leipzig.

The Ultra Says:
Two points lay (liability) RB Leipzig to beat Eintracht Frankfurt at 1.88 with BETDAQ Betting Exchange

CAGLIARI V JUVENTUS

5pm Next we move to Serie A for Cagliari v Juventus. This is a big game for both sides at this stage of the season – Juventus are still trying to chase down Inter Milan at the top of the table and Cagliari started the weekend sitting just outside the bottom three. Juventus would have been devastated to crash out of the Champions League midweek against Porto – I know home advantage doesn’t count for much these days, but Porto went a man down with over 30 minutes left and Juventus should have really taken advantage of that. Cagliari will be hoping they are still feeling sorry for themselves, and they actually arrive into the fixture with two wins from three games and a draw.

Those points are absolutely massive for Cagliari at this stage of the season, especially as there’s a little gap above them – it appears there is a definite bottom four now and at the moment they are coming out the best. Of course it’s all about the odds here and I can’t look past Juventus at 1.57. Although Cagliari have had three good results, they haven’t exactly performed superbly well. They came out on the right side of some very tight games and they haven’t been creating a huge amount of chances. Looking at their xG figures you can see why they are down towards the bottom of the table. Juve will of course be gutted after midweek, however they did create an xG of 3.53 and they have scored nine goals in three games. They should outclass this Cagliari side.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Juventus to beat Cagliari at 1.57 with BETDAQ Betting Exchange

SEVILLA V REAL BETIS

8pm We finish the day in La Liga with Sevilla hosting Real Betis. Sevilla were another side that exited in the Champions League midweek as they could only manage a 2-2 draw with Dortmund after losing the first leg. It’s a day of Champions League exits! They actually ended up 2-0 down against Dortmund on Tuesday before coming back. That meant Sevilla have only managed one win in six games and that came against Osasuna when they didn’t exactly bang the door down with chances. In fairness to them, they have had to play Barcelona twice as well as Dortmund, but Dortmund have been firing in the Bundesliga this season and they were very poor against Elche before crashing out of the Champions League.

This seems like a good time to play Sevilla, and it’s an excellent opportunity for Real Betis to claim three points. Betis have won their last four games and their performances have been good too. They ended up with an xG of 2.39 against Alaves on Monday and they have grinded out some close games which is a huge positive as this game will be pretty close too. The Betis win at 4.1 is quite tempting, but with Sevilla trading 2.08 I’m happy to keep the draw on my side and lay Sevilla. The 2.08 looks massively short given how both teams arrive into this fixture and it looks the best bet of the day.

Three points lay (liability) Sevilla to beat Real Betis at 2.08 with BETDAQ Betting Exchange
