TWO WINNERS OUT OF THREE AND TWO NAPS OUT OF THREE: Daqman landed two winning bets out of three yesterday, with the third one a favourite who didn’t run his race and pulled up. Chanting Hill was his second winning nap in three days after Saturday’s 9-5 scorer Wilde About Oscar.

✔️ WON 9-4 CHANTING HILL (nap)
✔️ WON 11-4 DARKEST DAY

EXPECT MORE FROM KAKAMORA

⭕ 12.30 Huntingdon The form of the Nicky Henderson yard is hard to weigh up at the moment. Given the domination of the Irish contingent you could argue he over-performed with his two winners Shishkin and Chantry House (a 1-2 in the Marsh) but the flip side was the bitterly disappointing efforts in the Gold Cup from Champ and Santini who both made mistakes and were pulled up.

Since Cheltenham, Henderson has had two winners from eight runners but also saddled three beaten favourites. A riddle wrapped in an enigma.

I’d be slightly wary of supporting his Chasamax in this opening maiden hurdle. Although this is a weak content he is 0/6 over hurdles and whilst his Cheltenham third in November is outstanding form in the context of this race, it looks as though he has regressed since then and there hasn’t been much spark from his two efforts in bumpers this year.

Preference has to go to Kakamora who is much less exposed and has every chance if maintaining the level of form of his two runner-up spots at Ludlow. He’s back after a break and should be fine with the good to soft ground.

LESSER IS MORE

⭕ 2.50 Wetherby Interesting event which can be quickly narrowed down to the three that head the BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE market.

Ballycallan Fame heads the betting – the last time she ran here she won by 23 lengths at 125/1.

However she didn’t build on that when beaten a similar distance into third at Warwick last time out when sent off a warm 6/5 favourite and it might well be that her C&D win was a little of a fluke in as much as she was given plenty of rope by her rivals – no doubt the jockeys assuming the 125/1 would come back to the rest of the field!

In short, I think she might be vulnerable again against two progressive and unbeaten rivals.

Lesser has won a point and bumper in easy fashion and sets off hurdling today and is narrowly preferred to Gosuatri who won a French bumper in 2019 and might be more of a long term project for Jonjo O’Neill.

⭕ 5.15 Taunton Just a speculative play here as it is wide open but I wasn’t keen on Deputy Jones who is 0/12 and was a disappointing beaten favourite when last seen outing December at Southwell.

Marilyn Monroe looks good for the place and I will stake to win with a stakes saver on the BETDAQ place market.

DAQMAN’S BETS (staked to win 10 points)
BET 5.6pts win (nap) KAKAMORA (12.30 Huntingdon)

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
