BUNDESLIGA / LA LIGA PREVIEW: Our European football tipster The Ultra previews Friday’s games between ARMINIA BIELEFELD V SC FREIBURG and HUESCA V ELCHE both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
ARMINIA BIELEFELD V SC FREIBURG
7.30pm A fascinating night of football awaits in Europe as we have big nights for teams at the bottom of the Bundesliga and La Liga. We start with Arminia Bielefeld hosting SC Freiburg. Arminia Bielefeld have been picking up some points recently, but they still sit in the relegation zone. Things are very tight however, and a win tonight would sent them into 14th. There is just two points between Hertha Berlin, Mainz, Koln and Arminia Bielefeld as we come to the “business end” of the season, and it’s going to be a fantastic finish. Freiburg are a mid-table Bundesliga side and although they are throw in some terrible performances, they are a pretty solid side.
Although this is clearly a massive game for Arminia Bielefeld, the value looks to be with Freiburg tonight. Freibrug were unlucky not to get a result against Gladbach last weekend and they have been putting in some decent xG figures recently. They are definitely playing better football than Arminia Bielefeld who have been lucky to get their recent points. Mainz created an xG of 2.36 in a 1-1 draw against Arminia Bielelfeld in a massive game last weekend at the bottom of the table. They were lucky to beat Bayer Leverkusen too, but the luck evens out as they should have beaten Werder Bremen when they lost. Freiburg look much more solid, and generally create enough to score while the same can’t be said about Arminia Bielefeld. 2.42 looks a nice bet, although stakes should be kept reasonably low given Arminia Bielefeld are fighting for their lives to stay up.

HUESCA V ELCHE
8pm We move over to La Liga next on BETDAQ Betting Exchange as Huesca host Elche. While the earlier game in the Bundesliga was important, this game is absolutely massive at the bottom of La Liga. Huesca start the game in 18th after winning at the weekend, just two points behind Elche in 17th. The stakes couldn’t be any higher as the games tick down in the season. It’s going to be a fantastic finish in La Liga this season, both at the top and bottom as there is only four points behind the bottom five sides. A win for Elche wouldn’t mean Huesca go down, while a win for Huesca would be massive for them, Elche would still fancy their chances of staying up. Both sides come into the game unbeaten in their last two, but looking at the xG figures I can only see one winner tonight.
That winner is Huesca, who look great value at 2.1. As I have been saying recently, Huesca haven’t been playing bad football – they just ended up being bottom of the league with so many draws but as we know, if you were betting against them you wouldn’t collect often despite their place in the table. They have been building up to their win last weekend, they even managed to create an xG of 2.01 away to Barcelona recently and they were unlucky to lose against Celta Vigo as they had an xG of 3.03. Elche might have got a 1-1 draw last weekend against Real Betis but they conceded an xG of 2.3 and they were also a little lucky to draw with Getafe who created more. Looking at the xG figures, everything points to a Huesca win here. They can continue their good form and record a massive win at the bottom of the table.
