BUNDESLIGA / LA LIGA: Our European football tipster The Ultra previews STUTTGART V AUGSBURG and REAL SOCIEDAD V ELCHE both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

STUTTGART V AUGSBURG

7.30pm It’s been a hectic week with the Champions League and Europa League Semi-Finals but it was nice to land some big bets, and now we can get stuck into some big domestic games this weekend. We start on Friday night with action from the Bundesliga and La Liga, and we kick the evening off with Stuttgart hosting Augsburg in the Bundesliga. Although Augsburg start the weekend in 13th, they aren’t far enough away from danger to not worry. They are just four points ahead of Koln in the relegation playoff spot and they will know Hertha have a game in hand too. I would suggest they won’t be caught, but they are one of the sides going in the wrong direction as well as Werder Bremen – while the likes of Koln have won their last two games. An interesting game awaits here!

Stuttgart are only six points ahead of Augsburg in 10th, but they have played much better football this season. The interesting thing about tonight is they are one of the sides where you could suggest that they are “on the beach” already, as they say towards the end of the season. They have lost their last four, and were particularly bad against RB Leipzig in their last game, they conceded an xG of 3.73 and only created 0.10! That has to be a worry for tonight, especially with them strong favourites and I wouldn’t be rushing to back them at 2.06 on BETDAQ Betting Exchange. They have created enough in their recent games to suggest we’ll see an end-to-end game here, and Augsburg aren’t a side who like to play a cagey game either. On a smaller scale than Stuttgart, their xG figures from their recent games have been quite end-to-end too. Everything points to goals here and I’m surprised over 2.5 goals is as big as 1.7 – that looks cracking value.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Over 2.5 goals at 1.7 with BETDAQ Betting Exchange

REAL SOCIEDAD V ELCHE

8pm Next we head to La Liga for a massive game! This is a big game for both sides for different reasons. Real Sociedad are in a battle for the Europa League spots with Villarreal and Real Betis, and although they start the weekend with the advantage a loss tonight and a win for the other two sides who see them drop out of the European spots. Obviously things are very tight, but they are finishing the season reasonably strongly – Real Betis have had too many draws. While Elche are fighting for their La Liga spot next season as they sit in the bottom three. Things are incredible tight at the bottom of La Liga this season with only four points between 15th and 19th, with only one point between 16th and 19th! In a situation like that, everything is to play for as the season draws to a close.

While Real Sociedad will probably be glad to play someone in the relegation zone, it does come with a worry as Elche will be playing their hearts out. I know they lost against Atletico Madrid last weekend, but they actually played very well. They finished ahead on xG, and were unlucky to lose. Sociedad also lost their last fixture 1-0 to Huesca who are also in the bottom three, and Sociedad haven’t been creating much lately. I expect a very close game here and I wouldn’t expect a lot of goals either. Sociedad should win the game as they should outclass Elche, but I feel it’s worth laying Sociedad at the odds. The 1.57 looks much too short given how well Elche played against Atletico Madrid and they have been grinding out some results lately too. I expect a closer game than the odds suggest, but it’s not one to go mad on.

The Ultra Says:
Two points lay (liability) Real Sociedad to beat Elche at 1.57 with BETDAQ Betting Exchange
