FINLAND V RUSSIA
2pm Matchday 2 kicks off on Wednesday in Euro 2020 and we have a superb day ahead. Hopefully we can continue the excellent form from the first round of games with all matches 0% Commission on BETDAQ Betting Exchange. We kick off the day with Finland against Russia with both sides having very different experiences in their first games. Even leaving aside the shocking scenes Finland went through with Christian Eriksen, they ended up with a win and that leaves them in an incredible position. Russia were hammered by Belgium and now this is a must win game for them. I’m not sure how Denmark will cope in their second tournament – the manager acknowledged after the Finland game how emotional the day was and they just didn’t have the energy for that second half. Credit to them for how they handled the situation and for playing the game. The end result means Finland would be happy with a draw here, but Russia looked a very poor side against Belgium so they have a realistic chance of winning.
I know Finland benefited from Denmark going through so much, but they actually played well. They are tough to score against, and Russia are an average side. They will have to create a lot to beat this Finland side who line up to defend. Don’t get me wrong, Finland are a very limited side themselves – but they do defend well and I can’t have Russia as short as 1.7 here. We landed our lay on Denmark in Finland’s first game, and to be fair Denmark didn’t create much in the first half before the terrible incident. Belgium are so good, they could have made Russia look worse than they are, but they have a number of issues. Their goalkeeper was very poor and looked nervous, and Finland can target set pieces. They had major issues at the back and I would have Russia odds on. They look a great value lay to start the day!
The Ultra Says:
Three points lay Russia to beat Finland at 1.7 with BETDAQ Exchange.

TURKEY V WALES
5pm This is the most open market of the day and we should have a very close game. Wales fans won’t like to hear this, but both sides were very poor in their first game. Turkey didn’t offer anything going forward against Italy, and once Italy made the breakthrough and Turkey opened up a little they were hammered. Wales didn’t create much either – they went behind and then equalised from nowhere. They were lucky to get a draw – even though they only conceded once, they actually gave away an xG of 2.6 and only created 0.57. Switzerland are a very good side however compared to Turkey. The reality for Wales is a draw was a fantastic result, and now a win here would see them through – even in third spot as four points will very likely be enough in the rankings. On paper, we should have a pretty low quality affair here and under 2.5 goals is my bet at 1.58.
Turkey looked well organised in the first half against Italy, but they barely got hold of the ball. They will also know that when the game opened up, they were all over the place. I can’t see them setting up for an open game here, and they will want to keep things as tight as possible. Even though Wales gave away a big xG of 2.6 against Switzerland – they have been mainly focusing on being strong at the back recently and they usually are in fairness to them. Their games at the Nations League didn’t have many goals and I can’t see Turkey being able to run riot against them. The draw is a very tempting bet in the match odds market at 3.2 and I would lean towards laying Turkey at 2.45 as I expect a very close game – I’d have Turkey a little closer to 3.0 and Wales the same (they are 3.4 now), but it’s hard to see past the unders here in what should be a very quiet game.
The Ultra Says:
Three points win 2.5 goals at 1.58 with BETDAQ Exchange.

ITALY V SWITZERLAND
8pm We finish the day with a very high quality game! This should be a cracker. A lot of football fans were calling Italy the winners after their demolition job of Turkey on Friday night, but that was way too early for me. Turkey are a very average side, and they were made to look average too. This will be a good test to see where Italy truly are, and the Swiss are a rock solid team. They were very unlucky not to beat Wales as I mentioned above, and although they might not be able to create an xG of 2.6 again here – they won’t give Italy the time and space that they got against Turkey. You have to say though that Italy are in excellent form, they are full of confidence as they are on a long winning run and they have been banging in the goals for fun recently. If you look at the Switzerland xG figures – they are reasonably happy to play an open game and I think we’ll see goals here.
It was nice to land a Max Bet on Italy on Friday – I was very confident they would win – but I’m not so sure here. The 1.64 looks a little short if you ask me. There was massive confidence in the market behind Italy before kick off – indeed they started the second half as a shorter price than I tipped them at given the size of the gamble before kick off. I wouldn’t be surprised to see another big gamble on them here, but I’m happy to skip past the 1.64. Switzerland are a good side and I expect a reasonably close game. Italy at 1.7 would look a fair price to me. Both sides are reasonably open and attacking on paper, and perhaps together that might make for a cagey game but over 2.5 goals great value at 2.3. I’d have it as favourite looking at the stats and xG figures. We could see a big score line with an early goal and a very end-to-end game – but whatever happens I’m happy to take the 2.3 on overs.
The Ultra Says:
Two points win Over 2.5 goals at 2.3 with BETDAQ Exchange.
