MATCH POINT: Our tennis tipping column previews the Wimbledon Men’s tournament with three recommended bets on the 0% BETDAQ MARKET !!.

After a year’s absence, Wimbledon is back from 11am on Monday and front of spectators too. The tournament will operate at 50% capacity across the grounds, building to full capacity crowds of 15,000 on Centre Court for the finals weekend.

That’s good news and even the weather promises to be Wimbledon themed. That’s rain sadly with the forecasts suggesting around a 30% probability of rain on the opening day 🙁 We could be in for delays but the retractable roofs on Centre and No.1 Courts could be seeing plenty of movement.

There are plenty of good reasons in the tournament on BETDAQ. In fact, no better reason than all bets 0% COMMISSION!

In the Men’s tournament Novak Djokovic is the BETDAQ odds-on favourite to retain his Wimbledon crown and will have the honour of playing first on Centre Court with him taking on 19-year-old Jack Draper – rated 250 in the world.

A tournament win for Djokovic would bring him level on 20 Grand Slam wins with both Federer and Nadal who is a non runner after announcing he is taking a break to ‘preserve his career’ and plans to return for the US Open.

With Federer seemingly a little way off his scintillating best and Djokovic arriving in red hot form (Australian Open and French Open already under his belt) it’s mighty hard to oppose him but he doesn’t make too much appeal at odds on.

I’ll be previewing several matches throughout the tournament but it’s time to set up a pre-tourney portfolio and the angle might be to try and find some value in the opposite side of the draw to Djokovic in the hope of finding a finalist and a possible trade out at that stage.

It could well be a Djokovic v Federer final which would be a huge crowd pleaser but from the bottom half of the draw I’m going to go for younger players.

Daniil Medvedev (ranked 2 in the world) around 8/1 on BETDAQ

A win at Wimbledon would promote the Russian to the number 1 player in the world – despite having never won a Grand Slam. He came closest at the US Open last year when getting to the semi-finals of the US Open and you have to feel that the breakthrough to the top table will come sooner rather than later for the 25-year-old. He’s yet to progress past the third round at SW19 in three previous attempts but the reigning Nitto ATP Finals winner should arrive here with plenty of confidence.

Matteo Berrettini (ranked 7 in the world) around 12/1 on BETDAQ

Another 25-year-old who was a semi-finalist at the US Open in 2019 when he also made it to the fourth round here. The Italian boasts one of the best serves on the tour and on grass that’s a massive weapon.

Casper Ruud (rated 14 in the world) around 150/1 on BETDAQ

Ruud could defy almost insultingly big odds. The Norwegian meets Australian Jordan Thompson on Monday and has a 2-0 H2H record over that rival. He’s inexperienced on grass but arrives in good form on the other surfaces.
