PREVIEW
After a couple of tough away days West Brom are back at the Hawthorns looking to continue their fine run by beating Newcastle. Roy Hodgson’s struggles at home have been well-documented this season, but two wins against Sunderland and Chelsea has given the supporters a big lift.

The Baggies grabbed a point at Wigan on the weekend to maintain a healthy distance between themselves and the relegation battle. When these sides met earlier in the campaign the Baggies produced an inspired performance to beat Newcastle at St James’ Park.

Newcastle have found it tough against the Baggies in the past and the defeat earlier in the campaign was the sixth game on the bounce they’ve failed to win against their next opponents.

There have been some highly entertaining matches between the clubs of late and with that plenty of goals. In the past five fixtures involving West Brom and Newcastle there have been 25 scored.

Alan Pardew’s side continue to push for a European finish, although their chances of a Champions League spot looks unlikely on the back of their away form. Newcastle have been beaten four times in six away league outings and can expect a tough game at the Hawthorns.

The Baggies continue to be inconsistent at home and history suggests that backing there to be more than 2.5 goals at around 1.97 on BETDAQ is the way to go.

RECOMMENDATION: (1-10 points)
Back over 2.5 goals at around 1.97: 5 points
Saturday’s Return: -6 points
MARCH RETURN TO DATE: +24.62
