MONDAY IN EUROPE: The Ultra previews Monday’s matches between NAPOLI v ROMA and BARCELONA v CADIZ both including a recommended BETDAQ bet.
NAPOLI V ROMA
6pm We start another busy week around Europe on BETDAQ Betting Exchange with a superb evening of football! Monday night football comes from Serie A and La Liga, and we have two fantastic games to enjoy. We start over in Serie A with Napoli hosting Roma – this should be a cracker. Jose Mourinho always brings the drama so there’s no doubt this will be an enjoyable watch, but this is also a massive game when you look at the table. Roma look very solid at the moment sitting in fifth place which is an achievement for them in fairness – you couldn’t call them a top four side at the moment, although they are within touching distance of Juventus so no doubt Jose Mourinho will be driving for that fourth spot. Hopefully we see plenty of drama there before the end of the season. And then Napoli are still fighting for the title. The loss to Fiorentina last weekend was a huge setback in that regard, and AC Milan and Inter Milan have already recorded wins this weekend so they need to win this fixture just to stay in touch. You have to say this is a fascinating fixture, if Napoli lose they are close to being out of the title race, if Roma lose they are very close to being out of the top four race!
So, a lot at stake then. I’m really looking forward to seeing how this fixture plays out, but I did expect a more open market when I clicked in to see the odds. I was very surprised to see Napoli odds on favourites. I know they have been very good this season, but Jose Mourinho really has Roma firing at the moment. They seem to be in a superb place at the moment and this seems a good time to support Roma in the markets. We have seen this before with Jose Mourinho teams – they are superbly when he has the dressing room backing, but we all know how quickly that can change. For the moment though he really has the players working hard for him, and I feel they can get a result here. I fully expect this Roma side to make this very close, and I can’t justify Napoli being odds on here. Of course they deserve to be favourites with home advantage, but not this short in my opinion. They haven’t been blowing teams away recently looking at their xG figures, and I’m very happy to lay Napoli here.
The Ultra Says:
Three points lay (liability) Napoli to beat Roma at 1.96 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

BARCELONA V CADIZ
8pm Next we move over to La Liga as Barcelona host Cadiz. We saw some incredible results last Thursday night in the Europa League Quarter-Finals, but unfortunately for Barcelona they were on the wrong end of the amazing scenes and crashed out of the competition. I have to say it did feel a little strange from Barcelona – it was almost like they were offended to be in the Europa League. Possibly understandable given their history in the Champions League, but it is always brilliant to win a trophy and it would have been a nice set up for Xavi to win in his first season too. Perhaps I got the wrong impression and Barcelona really wanted to win, but I felt they were a little lacklustre against Eintracht Frankfurt anyway. A side that won’t be lacklustre this evening will be Cadiz who are fighting to stay in La Liga. They are slap bang in the relegation battle, and dropped down to 18th again after Mallorca produced a shock win over Atletico Madrid. That left Mallorca one point ahead of Cadiz, but after Mallorca lost over the weekend Cadiz now have a chance to either go ahead of them and join them on points. That sounds easy right? Obviously the problem is you’re away to Barcelona! Anything from this game has to be viewed as a bonus for Cadiz, but I’m sure they will arrive here and put XI men behind the ball. A draw would be a cracking result – the question from a betting point of view is can they achieve it.
The market is very confident on the home win here, with Barcelona trading 1.24 at the time of writing. To be fair to Barcelona they have been superb under Xavi, perhaps that’s why I was surprised to see them crash out of the Europa League like they did against Eintracht Frankfurt. In La Liga, they have been creating chances for fun and scoring goals for fun too. Cadiz haven’t been playing too badly lately – obviously they are fighting for their lives at the moment and they are a limited sides, but they have been keeping games as tight as possible. It’s been a while since they conceded an xG figure of over 2.0 – you have to go back to the start of February. I can see them sitting back again here to try get a draw, but in the end Barcelona will grind out a result. I expect Barcelona to win, but Cadiz to keep the score line respectable. The 1.53 on Cadiz +1.5 goals looks like a cracking option here – I can’t see Barcelona running riot given Cadiz have been so solid at the back recently.
The Ultra Says:
Two points win Cadiz +2.5 goals to beat Barcelona at 1.53 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
