‘THAT’ IS THE ONE AT WEXFORD: Shamrock goes for a nap in the opener at Wexford with Up Ou That but regards 16.5 and 9.4 offers in the handicap hurdle as ‘dizzying’.

These Betdaq offers were dizzying! The top two Wexford trainers on strike rate, Michael Hourigan (50%) and Paul Magnier (40%), were value for dutching at 9.4 Dizzy Rascal and 16.5 Duers for tonight’s handicap hurdle (6.20).

Dizzy Rascal, who has just hit form, and Duers – has had a run back over fences – face a favourite, Caheronaun who keeps climbing the handicap for places only since winning off a 16lb lower mark in January, so looks vulnerable.

Up Ou That (4.50) won a bumper after a long break and can do the same trick for Willie and Emmet Mullins over hurdles in the opener: I took 5.8 on BETDAQ.

The Ulster National one-two Duroob and Talab meet again in the handicap chase (7.20), with Talab given a chance to turn the tables at the weights.

But Talab wore blinkers for the first time that day and, though he was second, he trailed in 18 lengths behind the winner on his latest start.

I shall take a chance on a return to form for Artiste Bay, a tempting 12.5 on BETDAQ at the time of writing. I think he can bounce back.

SHAMROCK’S BETS
NAP: Up Ou That (4.50 Wexford)
DUTCH: Dizzy Rascal and Duers (6.20 Wexford)
WIN AND PLACE: Artiste Bay (7.20 Wexford)
