PREVIEW
The first meeting between these two clubs this season ended in controversy as John Terry was accused of racially abusing Anton Ferdinand. Amidst the accusations, QPR pulled off a terrific 1-0 victory as Heidar Helguson’s early penalty proved the difference. Chelsea were not helped by having to play the majority of the game with nine men after Jose Bosingwa and Didier Drogba were dismissed in the first half.

QPR continue to struggle on their travels and Mark Hughes’ side haven’t won an away game since the start of February. As it stands the Hoops are two points better off than Bolton and outside the relegation places, mainly on the back of some superb home victories.

With the FA Cup final and Champions League final on the horizon it looks as if the Premier League might take a backseat as we approach the end of the season. Roberto Di Matteo continues to work miracles at the club as the result in Catalonia can testify to. It’s likely that the manager will use the game to give his players a rest and that means that Fernando Torres is likely to be given a start.

Even with a much changed starting XI, the Blues are in excellent shape to take advantage of QPR’s problems on the road. It’s five defeats in six for QPR away from Loftus Road and I fancy another one here, so back the home win at around 1.47 on BETDAQ.

RECOMMENDATION: (1-10 points)
Back Chelsea at around 1.47: 7 points

Saturday’s Return: -10 points

APRIL RETURN TO DATE: -43.38
