DAQMAN DABBLES AT BIG OFFERS ON BETDAQ: Daqman tracks down bets today at Huntingdon and Sedgefield at 6.2, 10.0 and 14.5. His nap was just under 3-1 on BETDAQ this morning.

TOMORROW: Big races at Kempton, Warwick and Fairyhouse tomorrow. Read Daqman previews this week and look out for his verdicts tomorrow.

DAVY’S DANCE WITH DESTINY

Destiny day tomorrow, Five-time champion Paul Townend should start to cut back on Jack Kennedy’s 18-winner lead in the Irish jockeys’ title race tomorrow.

He has a Grade A ride on Mt Leinster in the Dan and Joan Moore Memorial at Fairyhouse but his opening shot on Blood Destiny (12.27 hurdle) is in a situation we never thought we’d see again.

One of his opponents is Davy Russell (on Jazzy Matty), recalled by trainer Gordon Elliott from retirement after Kennedy crashed out with a broken leg at Naas on Sunday.

The 43-year-old Russell had hung up his boots a week before Christmas after winning on Liberty Dance at Thurles.

Now Davy, himself champion jockey three times, has a dance with destiny which may even see him trying to add to his score at the Cheltenham festival, where he famously rode Lord Windermere to victory in the 2014 Gold Cup.

Kennedy has broken his leg five times and, at 23, his medical team will not want him back in action too soon, with many Cheltenhams ahead for this remarkable jockey.

IT TAKES TWO BETS TO TANGO

⭕ 1.00 Huntingdon today Spot future star riders when they are still able to claim!

Lily Pinchin has ridden nine winners and 16 places for Charlie Longsdon this season and could be the answer to No No Tango.

He has been needing someone to exert control but, despite taking a keen hold, has been staying on at the end of his races over the minimum. Lily and this step up in trip could bring about improvement.

Maid On The Moon is the alternative, already a CD winner and with cheekpieces to improve on his recent form.

Betdaq Betting Exchange 10 Maid On The Moon, 14.5 No No Tango

TOM CREEN LIKES THE COURSE

⭕ 2.20 Sedgefield Tom Creen is not in the same league as Noble Yeats, Conflated and Flooring Porter but shares the same sire; Yeats, of course.

Tom has the advantage of age and weight over most of this field and the added strength of being a course and distance winner over today’s trip.

It was on the first day of the year, he met another Sedgefield winner, Skyhill, an out-and-out stayer, once a four-in-a-row scorer.

It looked a good race and Tom Creen is now down in trip and is receiving weight from all bar Graystown, a regular winner at Hexham but 11 years old now, as are four in this field.

BETDAQ value 2.98 Tom Creen

THE WAY TO START WINNING..

⭕ 3.00 Huntingdon Gary Moore has won this recently with an outsider, Chris Pea Green 12-1, and a favourite, 6-5 Kotmask last year.

His Flat-bred Sea The Stars gelding, Perseus Way, looks a good bet at this level, having been placed in Grade-2 hurdles on tough tracks at Cheltenham and Chepstow.

He won on the Flat for Charlie Appleby and Owen Burrows but has shown his class with Moore, breaking his hurdles maiden at Leicester by 24 lengths. A shade better than even money this morning.

Samuel Spade won well at Kempton but has to give Perseus Way 8lb today.

Rebecca Menzies thinks a lot of ex-French Start In Front, who did exactly that when scoring first time for her at Wetherby in December.

BETDAQ value 6.2 this morning, he is entered for the Triumph Hurdle and the Fred Winter at the Cheltenham Festival.

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
