WEEK AHEAD: The week ahead brings one of the best schedules yet, with Cheltenham Festival set for a stormer and the Champions League heating up with leg two of the Round of 16. We preview the best of this week’s sporting action below.

This week’s action kicks off from Tuesday with Bangladesh versus England in the cricket for their third T20, live from 09:00 on Sky Sports. Tuesday also sees day one of Cheltenham Festival, one of the most highly anticipated horse racing events of the year, live for all to watch on ITV from 13:00.

See out the day with your choice of football fixture as Wigan Athletic take on Coventry in the Championship (19:45) and Middlesbrough face Stoke City at 20:00, both live on Sky Sports. That isn’t all though, as Manchester City hope to establish their dominance over RB Leipzig in the Champions League, live from 20:00 on BT Sport.

Wednesday’s midweek action brings day two of Cheltenham Festival with four Grade 1 races to keep you entertained, live from 14:00 on ITV. The evening again provides you with your choice of football fixture as Hull City face Burnley in the Championship (19:45, Sky Sports), Sunderland welcome Sheffield United to the Stadium of Light (20:00, Sky Sports), and finally Real Madrid clash with Liverpool in a huge Champions League showdown, live from 20:00 on BT Sport.

Thursday will provide excitement for golf fans as both the LET: Aramco Singapore and the Valspar Championship get under way for day one from 05:00 and 11:30 respectively on Sky Sports. Cheltenham Festival returns for day three and with it brings the Ryanair Chase, an epic Grade 1 which will leave punters on the edge of their seats, live from 13:00 on ITV. Next, Real Betis clash with Manchester United in the Europa League from 17:45 on BT Sport. Premier League Darts returns for its seventh night of action, live from 19:00 on Sky Sports, which is followed by Arsenal versus Sporting CP in the Europa League at 20:00, at the same time that West Ham face AEK Larnaca in the Europa Conference, with both fixtures airing on BT Sport.

Friday sees the return of both the LET: Aramco Singapore and the Valspar Championship for their second day of club swinging action, both live on Sky Sports at 05:00 and 11:30 respectively. Cheltenham Festival draws to a close for its fourth and final day from 13:00 on ITV, so don’t miss out! Last but not least, the working week draws to a close with Nottingham Forest against Newcastle United from 20:00 on Sky Sports.

The weekend kicks off with day three of LET: Aramco Singapore from 05:00 on Sky Sports and is followed by day three of the Valspar Championship, also live on Sky Sports from 12:00. The Six Nations also returns for its final week, and it’s super Saturday with all three fixtures landing on the same day! The first game is Scotland versus Italy at 12:30 on BBC, followed by France against Wales at 14:45 (ITV) and Ireland versus England at 17:00 on ITV. In the Scottish Premiership Motherwell face Rangers at 12:30 (Sky Sports) and then you’ll have a fine choice of fixtures as Chelsea clash with Everton at 17:30 on Sky Sports and Manchester City hope to steamroll Burnley in the FA Cup, live on the BBC from 17:45.

Sunday sees both LET: Aramco Singapore and the Valspar Championship enter their fourth and final days from 06:00 and 12:00 respectively on Sky Sports. At midday, Sheffield United take on Blackburn in the FA Cup on ITV, which is followed by some Premiership rugby drama as London Irish face an Exeter Chiefs side which is highly motivated to win, live on BT Sport from 14:00. Two more FA Cup fixtures are coming your way in the form of Brighton versus Grimsby at 14:15 (BBC) and Manchester United against Fulham at 16:30 on ITV. The week is topped off with the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix, with Red Bull looking to take home another first and second placed victory, live from 17:00 on Sky Sports.
