TUESDAY LA LIGA: The Ultra previews REAL SOCIEDAD v ALMERIA and REAL VALLADOLID v BARCELONA with recommended BETDAQ bets.
REAL SOCIEDAD V ALMERIA
6.30pm The midweek action from Europe on BETDAQ Betting Exchange comes from La Liga on Tuesday night as we tick down to the final games of the 2022/23 season. We have two very interesting markets to look at here, and we start the evening with Real Sociedad hosting Almeria. This is a big for both sides as Real Sociedad look to lock in a top four finish which would be a huge result for them and Almeria, even though they already look reasonably safe, can move further away from the relegation zone. They will start this game four points away from the bottom three. Both sides recorded huge wins at the weekend with Real Sociedad beating Barcelona away from home and Almeria beating Mallorca with home advantage. Being at home has been very important to Almeria this season in their battle to stay up – they have only managed seven points away from home this season. On home form alone they move up into the European spots, it’s been like they’ve had two different sides this season; one who plays at home and the other to turn up for away games!
As you can imagine with Almeria’s away form, Real Sociedad come into this game the heavy odds on favourites. They are trading 1.51 at the time of writing with Almeria 7.4 and the draw is 4.8. Given how poor away from home Almeria have been this season, it’s hard to see past the Real Sociedad win here. It’s actually been hard to fault Sociedad this season, and they fully deserve their spot in the top four. Even away against Barcelona at the weekend they finished the game with an xG of 2.61 – I know Barcelona already have the title won, but not many sides have created that many chances in Camp Nou this season. Sociedad’s average xG is 1.7 this season and they have been solid at the back too with an average xG conceded of 1.1. Almeria have been the opposite, their average xG conceded is as high as 2.0. Real Sociedad have a five point advantage over Villarreal in fifth, and they just need to keep ticking the games off – Champions League football would be a huge result for them and the stakes couldn’t be higher. There’s only one winner here for me, and the 1.51 on Sociedad is worthy of a Max Bet in my opinion.
The Ultra Says:
Five points win Real Sociedad to beat Almeria at 1.51 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

REAL VALLADOLID V BARCELONA
9pm Next we have two sides from the opposite ends of the table as Real Valladolid host the Champions Barcelona. Unfortunately for Barcelona it wasn’t a winning “homecoming” at the weekend at Camp Nou as they lost 2-1 to Real Sociedad after confirming the title with a win over Espanyol away from home a weekend earlier. The Espanyol fans weren’t having them celebrating on their turf! It’s hard to read too much into the Barcelona performances at the moment, the hard work is done and they can enjoy their final few games of the season. Real Valladolid will be hoping that they fully switch off here because they desperately need a win in the relegation battle. As I highlight in my Cadiz v Real Valladolid preview at weekend, the loser of that game was going to end up in the bottom three and Real Valladolid were on the wrong end of a 2-0 hammering. Cadiz absolutely bossed the game. Real Valladolid did get “lucky” with other results though. Getafe only managed a 1-1 draw at home to Elche, a game they would have been fully expected to win and were trading around 1.5 to do so, means that Real Valladolid have the same amount of points as Getafe, but Real Valladolid have a terrible goal difference. Another result went against Real Valladolid at the weekend with Espanyol winning meaning they are only one point behind Getafe and Real Valladolid.
Cadiz are three points clear of Getafe and Real Valladolid, so they aren’t fully out of the danger zone yet either. There’s going to be drama yet in the relegation battle! Given the situation and likely changes to the Barcelona starting XI with the title in the bag, Barcelona aren’t heavy favourites here. They are trading 1.98 at the time of writing with Real Valladolid 3.85 and the draw is 4.0. Real Valladolid have been very poor away from home with only 11 points, but they have been a lot more solid at home. The thing is though, they have been finishing the season very poorly – only seven points from their last eight games is why they have dropped into the bottom three. They are conceding an average xG of 2.1 this season, and scoring less than one goal per game. I know Barcelona have nothing to play for and we can expect changes, but the 1.98 is too tempting to turn down for a reasonably small bet. There’s just too much of a gulf in class between the sides here.
The Ultra Says:
Two points win Barcelona to beat Real Valladolid at 1.98 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
