WEEK AHEAD: Plenty of great sporting this week action with little doubting the highlight being Manchester City taking on Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League final on Saturday.
Monday We begin the week with a continuation of the French Open on Eurosport. The players will be bidding to fill up the quarterfinal sports live from 09:30.
With tennis the theme of a lot of the week, Tuesday sees The French Open quarterfinals get underway from 09:30 on Eurosport as tensions rise and the players get ever closer to the dream of winning a grand slam. There is also T20 cricket action with Leicestershire taking on Yorkshire in the Vitality Blast on Sky Sports, with both teams looking to kick their seasons in to gear after a poor start, the action gets underway from 18:30.
The cricketing continues on Wednesday but this time it is in test match form as Day One of Australia v India in the World Test Championship Final gets underway from 11:00 on Sky Sports. There is a slightly later start time of 10:00 in the French Open as the quarterfinals continue on Eurosport. The second European Final of the season takes place on Wednesday evening as Fiorentina and West Ham travel to Prague for the Europa Conference League Final which gets underway from 20:00 on BT Sport.
Thursday sees the French Open Women’s singles down to the final four with the semi-finals taking place from 13:30 on Eurosport. The World Test Championship Final returns for Day Two as Australia and India continue to battle it out for the title of the best test team in the world. This week’s PGA golf comes from the Canadian Open as the players take to St George’s Golf and Country Club from 17:00 on Sky Sports.
On Friday it’s the men’s turn in the semi-finals stage as the French Open Roland-Garros finalists will be decided from 13:30 on Eurosport. Day Three of Australia v India is live on Sky Sports from 11:00 as the two sides continue to fight for the number one spot in test cricket. The players will be fighting to make the cut in Ontario as the second round in the Canadian Open gets underway from 17:00 on Sky Sports. There is also Friday night Rugby League action with a struggling St Helens side welcoming rivals Wigan Warriors to the Totally Wicked Stadium at 19:30 on Sky Sports.
Saturday night plays host to the biggest fixture in the football calendar as Manchester City take on Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League final. The Women’s French Open title will be decided on Saturday afternoon with the final set to get underway from 14:00 on Eurosport. With the cuts made in the Canadian Open the tournament begins to hot up with Day Three live on Sky Sports from 17:00.
The end of the week on Sunday spells the end for three of our competitions. It’s the final day in The World Test Championship as we find out who of Australia and India is truly the world’s best Test side. The French Open Men’s final is live on Eurosport as the world’s best go head-to-head at Roland-Garros from 14:00. The golfing action also comes to an end with the Canadian Open winner to be crowned on Sunday after the fourth round which gets underway from 17:00 on Sky Sports. There is very early boxing action on Sunday with Josh Taylor fighting Teofimo Lopez for the WBO Super Lightweight title on Sky Sports from 01:00.
