COPPA ITALIA FINAL: The Ultra previews ATALANTA v JUVENTUS with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
ATALANTA V JUVENTUS
8pm We have a huge clash from Europe on Wednesday as it’s Coppa Italia Final time on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE! Atalanta and Juventus clash in what should be a very competitive affair. This is the start of a huge seven days for Atalanta – a win against Roma at the weekend put them into fifth place in Serie A which now gets a Champions League spot – they have this Final, then next Wednesday they have the Europa League Final against Bayer Leverkusen. At the moment, you’d prefer to play Juventus compared to Bayer Leverkusen so this is their best chance at a trophy!
We have an exceptionally open market here; Atalanta are the favourites at 2.84 with Juventus 3.0 and the draw is 3.15 at the time of writing. You have to say that Atalanta come into this game as the form team; Juventus were in the title race up until up until February but then their season has fallen apart. More dropped points at the weekend saw Bologna go past them for third – they’ve only managed two wins from their last 15 Serie A games. That stat is quite the concern coming into this tie. You’d have to say too that they had a very easy passage to the Final – they played Salernitana and Frosinone; both in the relegation battle – before beating Lazio (who have also had a poor season) at the Semi-Final stage.
Juventus have really struggled away from home this season; they actually lost the second leg 2-1 to Lazio away but won the home leg 2-0 to get here. They are marginally conceding more chances than they are creating away from home this season, and while we have a neutral venue here that still has to be a worry. Atalanta have similar figures away from home too however; they are creating what they are conceding away from home. Overall though on paper, Atalanta are the better side. They have an average xG created of 1.63 compared to Juventus at 1.47.
Juventus have been marginally better at the back. They have an average xG conceded of only 1.20 whereas for Atalanta it’s 1.26. Both are good figures though, and you’d have to expect a very cagey game here. Under 2.5 goals is trading 1.65 and that looks an appealing price in my opinion. I expected to it be a little shorter to be honest. The sides have played out two draws this season, a 0-0 and a 2-2. I really don’t like Juventus here at 3.0, and I feel the best value bet is the Juventus lay. I do like Under 2.5 goals at the odds, and I feel the Juventus price is offering value on the Atalanta win and the draw to be honest. I couldn’t put anyone off either of those bets based on personal preference, however I’m very happy with the Juventus lay at the odds. They’ve been on a terrible run and Atalanta have been a much better side this season.
The Ultra Says:
Three points lay (liability) Juventus to beat Atalanta at 3.0 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
