MANCHESTER CITY V INTER MILAN

8pm The new Champions League continues on Wednesday night with some cracking ties on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE! We have a lot of home favourites, and I’m sure Manchester City and PSG will be a popular double on Wednesday night! We kick things off with the highlight fixture of the evening as Manchester City host Inter Milan – two European giants meet and it’s fixtures like this that make the Champions League come alive. It’s a sign of how dominant Manchester City have been in recent years however that they come into the game as the odds on favourites. Manchester City are trading 1.56 with Inter Milan 6.6 and the draw is 4.7 at the time of writing. On the pitch, it’s been business as usual for City on the pitch this season with four wins from four games in the Premier League – you get the feeling the stuff off the pitch (the 115 charges) is going to possibly dominate the headlines over the coming months. Obviously that’s a very interesting situation, but for the time being they are still favourites to win the Champions League! Inter Milan have dropped points in Serie A twice already, and it’s probably a sign of the gulf in class between the Premier League and Serie A that City are such big favourites.

City have been faultless in their games so far – their average xG created is over 2.0 and their average conceded is under 1.0. Pretty much perfect figures really – title winning figures. Inter Milan haven’t been creating as much at the start of the season – their average xG created is only 1.43 but of course it is early days in the season. When you’re comparing attacking figures though, it’s day-and-night between the clubs here. Over 2.5 goals is trading 1.7 and Both Teams To Score is 1.81. We should have an open and entertaining game here, but I feel the best value position is the City win at 1.56. With home advantage, they should get the job done impressively here. Inter are a great side, but looking at the figures on pretty much every metric City are the better side. I’m very confident on a win for Pep Guardiola’s side, and the 1.56 is my first five star NAP of the new Champions League season.

The Ultra Says:
Five points win Manchester City to beat Inter Milan at 1.56 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

PSG V GIRONA

8pm Next we move to Paris as PSG host Girona. We have another odds on home favourite with PSG trading 1.42, Girona 8.2 and the draw is 5.6 at the time of writing. Obviously PSG have been through plenty of changes in the summer – that’s usually the way in Paris in fairness, but Mbappe moving to Real Madrid is the headline this time around. It’s been quite the turnaround since Neymar, Messi and Mbappe were there! As things stand, it looks like PSG are taking a different approach for the time being – the superstar angle has never really worked out for them. The Champions League has always been the acid test for them however; winning Ligue 1 is pretty standard for PSG! It’s been business as usual for PSG in Ligue 1 with four wins from four games, but it hasn’t been the same for Girona in La Liga. They have only managed seven points from their five games – I have highlighted already that Girona massively over-performed last season and to see them drop out of the top four this season wouldn’t be a surprise. Their average xG created was 1.5 last season compared to their actual goals scored of 2.24. They also over-performed at the back – their average xG conceded was 1.42 compared to their actual goal conceded of 1.21.

When you look at the Girona under-lining numbers, their performance level isn’t anything to be worried about for PSG. Especially when you look at the Girona performance level away from home last season too. PSG have pretty much the figures you’d expect from Ligue 1 and the gulf in class between themselves and the rest. Their average xG created is over 2.0 and their average conceded is under 1.0 – more or less the same figures as Manchester City – except their performance level is way more impressive given it’s in the Champions League! It will be interesting to see the tactics Girona employ here and how cagey they approach the game; the market is expecting goals with Over 2.5 goals trading 1.49 but I feel there’s more value in the PSG win at 1.42. I said at the start that the Manchester City and PSG double would be a very popular bet on Wednesday, and I fancy both of them to get the job done. PSG are worth a confident bet.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win PSG to beat Girona at 1.42 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
