GENOA V FIORENTINA

5.30pm The midweek Serie A fixture list continues on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE with another two interesting markets on Thursday night. Fiorentina and Roma are back in action after facing each other on Sunday night, and they are both odds on to win. We kick off the evening with Genoa hosting Fiorentina – we have two sides at opposite ends of the table here and it’s no surprise to see Fiorentina odds on here. Fiorentina are trading 1.85 with Genoa 4.8 and the draw is 3.9 at the time of writing. Fiorentina put Roma to the sword on Sunday night with a 5-1 win and that put them into the top four after everyone played at the weekend. They have an average xG created of 1.6 this season, which is the third best attacking figure in Serie A. After finishing eighth last season, if Fiorentina can keep this level of form they have a decent chance of getting European football. Genoa are really struggling this season, and to be honest I was very surprised to see Fiorentina trading as high as 1.85 when I clicked into the market – I feel this game is just about trying to find the right stake.

I’m definitely taking the 1.85 on Fiorentina, the only thing to decide is the stake size. Genoa currently sit in the relegation zone, and their under-lining numbers make for some very poor reading too. Their average xG created is only 1.01 which is the third worst attacking figure in the league – it’s no surprise to see them sitting where they are. They’ve also been very poor at the back, they are in the bottom four defensive figures in Serie A and they are also conceding over two goals a game on average at the moment. They had an early win over Monza in the season but it’s been seven games without one since and they actually haven’t won a home game. They have managed draws here against Inter Milan in their first game of the season and Roma when they were on their run that got the manager sacked, but I still feel the 1.85 is massive here. Genoa are there for the taking and with Fiorentina playing good football, they are worth a five star NAP in my opinion.

The Ultra Says:
Five points win Fiorentina to beat Genoa at 1.85 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

ROMA V TORINO

7.45pm We finish Thursday night with Roma hosting Torino – we have another interesting market here with Roma coming into the game as the odds on favourites but they will have plenty of willing layers given how many points they’ve dropped at the start of the season. They’ve also been through a change in management already too! Roma are trading 1.74 with Torino 5.6 and the draw is 3.95 at the time of writing. Whatever is going on at Roma this season, things are clearly not right – they currently sit in mid-table and they clearly had problems in the dressing room given the manager was sacked so early. They have a decent average xG created figure; they sit in the top five on attacking figures but obviously results haven’t been coming. I do feel the reality with the situation at Roma is they massively over-achieved when Jose Mourinho was here, winning a major European trophy, getting to the final of the Europa League etc. When Mourinho took the Roma job, it was a sight surprise – they weren’t a top four side in Serie A after all – perhaps now they are going back to what they were before Mourinho, it’s hard to taste that success and then go backwards.

While Roma have clearly struggled for results, there’s nothing wrong with their performance levels in my opinion, and they face the worst defensive side in Serie A here. Torino have an average xG conceded of 1.71 which is the worst defensive figure by a decent margin this season. Torino sit in mid-table with Roma, but they’ve actually managed four points more! At the moment, Torino are massively over-performing in front of goal and they are also not conceding all the goals that they should be at the back. I’d definitely lean towards Roma here, but at odds on I just don’t trust them at the moment. Both sides clearly have their flaws, and Both Teams To Score is worth backing here at 1.96. Roma are making plenty of mistakes at the moment, and we know Torino are conceding chances for fun too – we should see goals here, but I’m happy to keep stakes limited.

The Ultra Says:
One point win Both Teams To Score at 1.96 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
