THE BIG BOXING-DAY DOUBLE
🎄 1.55 Kempton, Boxing-Day Thursday (Christmas Hurdle) Constitution Hill goes for a hat-trick and seven out of eight for Nicky Henderson in the Christmas Hurdle that Willie Mullins last won back to back with Faugheen (2014-15).
Willie challenges on Thursday with the five-year-old grey mare, Lossiemouth, winner of the Triumph Hurdle and the Mares Hurdle at successive Cheltenhams among nine hurdles hits out of 10.
Lossiemouth has 7lb with which to close a ratings gap of 15lb with Constitution Hill.
After that, you have Sir Gino and Burdett Road each one bidding to become the first four-year-old winner since 1942.
🎄 2.30 Kempton, Boxing-Day Thursday (King George V1 Chase) The last six King Georges have produced winners at 12-1 (twice), 20-1 and 28-1.
Paul Nicholls always has one ready (he’s won four of the last six) but youngsters aged six to eight usually come good and two of five such contenders are trained by a Mullins and an O’Brien.
ROAD TO THE WELSH NATIONAL
🎄 2.50 Chepstow, Friday (Welsh Grand National): If the Welsh don’t win their Grand National, English raiders from just across the border in Dorset and Somerset take it.
Trainers from between 25 and 78 miles of Chepstow racecourse have bagged the prize a staggering 16 times this century.
So forget the form book, get your road map out of the car and be your own trip advisor. Daqman details here past ‘distance winners’ from just down the road. Look out for his verdict on the day.

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….
Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
