MONDAY NAP WINS: Daqman landed a winning nap yesterday to finish in profit with Manton Road (WON EVENS) at Wolverhampton. It was heartache earlier in the day when Goldern Maverick (100/30) was trading at around 1.05 in-play on Betdaq when three lengths clear at the last where he blundered and conspired to even finish out of the places.

TUESDAY TRIO: Daqman has bets from Ayr, Leicester and Newcastle.

LEAVING TIMMY ON TUESDAY

⭕ 3.40 Ayr Gordon Elliott sends over a couple of runners to Ayr on Tuesday including the aptly named Timmy Tuesday who carries top weight here.

His Irish form is pretty modest and a starting handicap mark of 118 looks plenty high enough. He doesn’t seem to have progressed since finishing third at Cork on debut and whilst his Limerick second last time out was a little more like it he was still beaten 15 lengths by the easy winner.

It might pay to stay slightly closer to home with the Nicky Richards trained Ruby Island who is a dual winner over hurdles (when trained by Mark Walford) and made a pleasing stable debut after a long break to finish third at Doncaster just before Christmas.

In the same grade and off the same mark he should be competitive if progressing from that run.

WALK IN THE PARK?

⭕ 3.55 Leicester An interesting four runner event to conclude the Leicester card with the Betdaq Betting Exchange market firmly pointing towards a match between Hunter Legend (Venetia Williams) and Westerninthepark (Olly Murphy) although last time out Ffos Las winner Karuma Grey might want a say too.

The Olly Murphy stable form (5 winners from last 12) tilts me towards Westerninthepark who should find this much easier than the last two tasks he has been set at Cheltenham (2nd) and Aintree (3rd).

Hunter Legend won well here last time and the 7lb hike might still be summountable over his longest trip to date.

TAKING A PITSTOP TO BACK PENELOPE

⭕ 6.45 Newcastle Manton Road landed the nap yesterday but it looked hard work and it’s no surprise to see trainer Gay Kelleway pull him out of this race 24 hours later.

That might leave the door open for Penelope Valentine (partnered by Luke Morris who road Manton Road for us last night).

Her course and distance second to favourite Studious 10 days ago is solid enough form and off the same mark she has a clear chance.

Karl Burke’s A Fine Claret disappointed at Southwell last time out when sent off favourite and now needs to bounce back to trouble the selection.

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
