LOOK OUT ON SATURDAY: Daqman previewed a Saturday big race last week and followed up with the 22-1 winner (39.0 taken on BETDAQ). Today he ignores the Haydock Sprint and picks a handicap with strong indicators for another big BETDAQ punt.
TODAY: Bets at Bath, Hamilton and Kempton Park.
CLAIMING YOUR ATTENTION
⭕ 2.40 Saturday, Ascot Handicap It’s the Haydock Sprint on Saturday, but I shall also be looking elsewhere for value including in this one.
With 7f handicaps so popular, it was oversubscribed to the tune of almost double the maximum 20 allowed.
STATS: AGE: Four-year-olds have won 6-9, with only one winner older than five.
WEIGHT & JOCKEY: Six claimers have won in the decade, bringing five winning weights down to 8st 10lb and lower.
LAYS LOGIC: Favourites have drawn a blank but seven winners were between 7-1 and 12-1 SP.
BECKETT’S YARD ON SONG
⭕ 4.20 Bath today (Fillies’ Handicap) A 1m 4f handicap for fillies, with Jessica Harrington bringing over her stayer Gangster Granny, and her winning apprentice Keithen Kennedy.
Together they won at Killarney just 12 days back, but today is a drop of nearly three furlongs in trip.
The filly was earmarked for the Ulster Cesarewich but likes to front-run, so I can’t resist a bit of 11.0.
Class 4 at Goodwood produced winning form from Miss Dolly Rocker but it’s currently hard to follow the Kubler stable: 0-21 in 12 days.
Most likely winning yard is Ralph Beckett’s. He declared Perfect Your Craft (Hector Crouch) and Song Brocade (Rossa Ryan) – both liking cut in the ground – but withdrew Perfect Your Craft this morning.
BETTER AND BETDAQ BETTER
⭕ 6.15 Hamilton (2YO Series Final Nursery) North Yorkshire trainer Adrian Paul Keatley and jockey Oisin McSweeney boast three winners – all strong favourites – from their last four starters.
They have the top weight in the one stall here, a race top ratings win from the low draw.
Better And Better won over the CD in June and at Haydock in early August before showing speed but failing to last 7f when raised to class 2 at York. This is more like it. And I like 4.5 on Betdaq Betting Exchange, too!
QUIET! BIG GENT OFFERS
⭕ 8.30 Kempton Iconic Times is 2-2 at Kempton but both were 6f. Two 7f attempts, though class 5, saw him unfancied at 28-1 and 50-1 and finishing seventh in each case.
The pedigree suggests that The Quiet Gent, another course winner, also over 6f, should do well stepped up in trip and blinkered first time. BETDAQ 5.4 taken with the opposition making him nap material.
Marquis Pompeo’s form has improved as he has prepped for this first handicap; winner at Wolverhampton. Preanka goes well fresh.
Apache Green has changed stables twice. Wild Clary needed nine races to break his maiden and Tactical Plan has done best in soft-heavy on turf.
Enrolled is consistent without improvement, as suggested by his ratings since April: 77/77/75/74/77.

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….
Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
