TORINO v AC MILAN

7.45pm Monday Night Football from Europe on Betdaq Betting Exchange comes from Serie A this week! We have a cracker to enjoy too as AC Milan travel to take on Torino – this is the start of a massive week from Europe with the Champions League and the Europa League back this week – it’s a real busy period for football all around Europe. We’ve had a very dramatic title race already in Italy, and AC Milan are in a good position – they obviously play last on this matchday but they come into it sitting top of the table. With only one point between AC Milan, Napoli, Inter Milan and Roma – someone will have surely jumped over them come kick off.

While AC Milan have been getting plenty of results this season; there is a lot to worry about looking at the under-lining numbers. Their average xG created has slipped down to 1.48, which is the eighth best in Serie A this season. The average xG conceded has crept up to 1.32 – which is also a mid-table figure. At the moment, sides haven’t taken their chances against AC Milan – they are basically conceding roughly half of the chances that they are giving away. If their results were to come more in line with their performance levels, you would definitely see them slipping down the table. You get the feeling that this Christmas and New Year period is massive for them. They need to keep the momentum going!

Despite those worries with AC Milan, it’s still no surprise that they come into this game as the odds on favourites. AC Milan are trading 1.78 with Torino 5.5 and the draw is 3.8 at the time writing. While I highlighted some issues for AC Milan above, it’s highly likely that Torino will be unable to expose them. Torino have been pretty average going forward this season; they have a mid-table attacking figure and they are struggling to convert their limited chances. They’ve scored 12 goals in 13 games, and they’ve been conceding far more than they are creating.

Torino have really struggled at the back – they are in the bottom three on defensive figures in Serie A. While I know there are concerns with AC Milan, and they did get knocked out of the Coppa Italia last week away to Lazio, I still feel the 1.78 is far too big to get the job done here against a very average Torino side. AC Milan have all the momentum, and the confidence of a winning side – I’m happy with a confident bet at 1.78.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win AC Milan to beat Torino at 1.78 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
