I SEA A WINNING NAP
⭕ 2.00 Lingfield Quebec Stakes (Listed Race) This might be left to the seven-year-old Tyrrhenian Sea who retains plenty of ability on the all-weather and has a good record in this race.
A 5-14 career record on the AW he found favourite Royal Champion too good in this same race last year (won it the year before) but still finished a full eight lengths clear of the third. Royal Champion has gone on to win Group 2 races so there was no disgrace in that defeat.
Tyrrhenian Sea reappeared after a break to finish third in a similar event at Kempton earlier this month and that should have put him spot on for this.
Nebras made all to win a Newcastle handicap last month by a head but this looks a lot tougher. A bigger danger might emerge from Military Academy who has his first start for trainer Jane Chapple-Hyam with a visor on for the first time. He’s been fairly highly tried so far so this has to be considered a drop in class.
LADIES FIRST
⭕ 3.00 Lingfield This looks a competitive fillies handicap despite there just being six entries.
The morning Betdaq Betting Exchange market was pointing towards Gaiety Musical as going off favourite but she is proving an expensive project. She was a beaten favourite at Chelmsford last time out and still looks a little high in the weights to me – paying the price for three consecutive all-weather wins at the top pf the year.
Lady Manzor might be a safer alternative, She ran well in fourth last time and returns to seven furlongs – a distance she has won over here previously and she has also run well after a break before.
THE RIVER ROLLER COASTER
⭕ 3.13 Uttoxeter A big field goes to post for this three mile handicap in which two stand out for me.
River Voyage won twice over hurdles before retuning to fences last month to finish third to Diamond Dealer. He should be a lot sharper today and I think is still on the right side of the handicapper.
Emotional Roller is also of interest for the in form stable of Joel Parkinson & Sue Smith. His form is consistent rather than spectacular but crucially will be staying on when some of these have cried enough.

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….
Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
