DAQMAN’S NAP A KNOCKING BET: Daqman spotted big value about his nap on BETDAQ yesterday, with a direct line from Cheltenham Festival form. Lynches Knock (WON 6-4) slammed his Cork field five lengths.

TWO BULL’S-EYE BETS TODAY: Today Daqman tries to load his wallet for a seven-card weekend of jumps racing before the Flat (turf) season starts next week. He hopes his Friday nap will pay for two bull’s-eye bets.

CHAMP KNOWS BETTER

⭕ 2.30 Newbury (Brown Chamberlin Trophy) Captain Bellamy just failed to catch Calymistic here at the end of December.

But the only ‘win’ to his name, hurdles or fences, was when disqualified at Newbury a year earlier.

First-time cheekpieces may help Captain Bellamy but champion jockey Sean Bowen has other ideas: He Knows Better!

He Knows Better, a hurdles winner for James Bowen, scored at Southwell over fences for brother Sean last month. BETDAQ 3.7 taken this morning.

Fresh Kicks has won only his maiden when 3-1 on and was beaten – second each time – on two other occasions he started favourite.

SANILAM GOOD VALUE

⭕ 3.55 Musselburgh (Night Nurse Novices’ Series Final) Upwardly mobile Sanilam runs in his first handicap, after winning the Newcastle qualifier for this final.

He turned over Jamie Snowden’s odds-on Silver Hill that day, yet that one reappeared two weeks later, again odds on, and went clear at Hereford. BETDAQ 8.2 taken this morning.

Basically this is a bunch of class-4 and class-5 animals pursuing class-2 status, so don’t be put off by Sanilam’s weight.

Only The G Wizard has any kind of rating close to Sanilam’s. He has his ground and gave 8lb when beaten two lengths here at Musselburgh on the first of last month, but the third horse home was a lesser light out of Sanilam’s stable.

HE’S STILL ADVANCING

⭕ 7.00 Wolverhampton Hollie Doyle is hot with seven winners in the last two weeks, one of them for Marco Botti who is bidding for a Wolver hat-trick, going into this with form figures from the last three meetings there of 311.

He is literally advancing Advancing in the ratings, stepping him up 12lb since his Christmas transfer to Marco from James Ferguson.

Last time out, two weeks ago, Advancing sauntered past Ferguson’s Highclere thoroughbred Cavolo Nero at Kempton, with smart hat-trick seeker I’m Workin On It only fourth and there could be more to come. Betdaq Betting Exchange 7.9 with second choice First Principle.

The William Haggas front-runner finished second to Andrew Balding’s Lincoln Handicap hope, The Lost King, in the Lincoln Trial two weeks back.

Eternal Force has been backed to Lincoln favouritism for Haggas and First Principle (46th in the acceptors list) is unlikely to get in, whereas The Lost King (number 25) becomes Andrew Balding’s big hope for Doncaster.

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
