DOUBLE SEVEN WON 5/4 FOR A WINNING SUNDAY NAP: SHAMROCK landed a 5/4 winning nap with Double Seven at Wexford on Sunday. Now for the big races on Monday at Naas.

Double Seven kept his winning run going yesterday with an easy success to land my nap at 5/4.

Irish racing keeps the betting show on the road today following the abandonment of Bangor, Leicester and Redcar.

The Irish racing today comes from Galway and Naas where there are two Graded races on the card:

1:45 Poplar Square Chase (Grade 3) (5yo+, Class 1, 2m, 7 runners)

This is a race where the market leaders have enjoyed a good recent record but this is a wide open renewal and five of the seven runners are having their first reappearance since Punchestown. At the other end of the spectrum Sweeney Tunes ran at Wexford yesterday and is still set to run today at the time of writing! On the basis of Twinlight needing the race preference today is for Realt Mor who might be best when fresh.

3:15 Brown Lad Handicap Hurdle (Grade C) (4yo+, 2m 4f, 14 runners)

Pink Coat (place) is a speculative offering in a very open handicap. He was an easy winner at Listowel before being a beaten favourite at Tipperary last time out when up in the weights. However, he still could be worth chancing here – over a longer trip and with some favoured ease in the ground.

SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: Realt Mor (1.45 Naas)
NEXT BEST: Pink Coat (PLACE) (3.15 Naas)
