It’s taken a while, but Celtic are finally starting to click and Neil Lennon deserves all the praise he’s getting. With Wednesday night’s 2-1 victory against Dunfermline, the Hoops closed the gap at the top to just seven points.

The Hoops have won their past four matches on the spin and they have an excellent opportunity for another when St Mirren visit Celtic Park. The Saints are having a decent enough season and lie in fifth place ahead of this clash. Danny Lennon’s lot have been let down by some inconsistent performances, which has seen them struggle to get any proper momentum going.

St Mirren also beat Dunfermline 2-1 and are unbeaten in three games, so for those that fancy another here can get around 13.0 for an upset. Fans will likely recall that the Hoops played St Mirren at the end of August and it turned out to be a comfortable 2-0 win.

Celtic are starting to increase the pressure on the league leaders and it showed in Rangers’ goalless draw against St Johnstone. The squad looks very settled at the moment and I don’t see Celtic having any problems tomorrow.

A similar scoreline to the earlier meeting is on the cards, so I’d take the 1.88 price available for Celtic to win by two goals to land us the handicap on BETDAQ.
