CHAMPIONS LEAGUE: We preview Tuesday’s Champions League game between LIVERPOOL v ROMA with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

7.45pm We have another wonderful European night ahead at Anfield! Liverpool were superb against Manchester City in the Quarter Final, and now Roma stand in their way on the way to the final. Liverpool would have been delighted with this draw considering that Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are in the other semi final, and we can expect a brilliant atmophere.
Liverpool are heavy favourites, with the match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Liverpool 1.57, Roma 6.6 and the draw is 4.6. While in the To Qualify market, Liverpool are 1.49 and Roma are 3.0.
Roma shouldn’t be underestimated – they did knock out Barcelona in the last round after all. They came from three goals down after the first leg, however it seems obviously (if it wasn’t beforehand!) that they are a way better side at home compared to away. They’ve only won once away from home in the Champions League this season, so Liverpool will see this as an opportunity to take full advantage heading into the second leg – if Roma could draw here, it would be a huge result for them.
Liverpool are in excellent form coming into this game, and they have been scoring goals for fun lately. They’ve only lost once in their last 15 games in all competitions and with Roma’s poor away form – they look too big here at 1.57. We can see them scoring more than once too and putting themselves in a great position to qualify, so it’s worth checking the prices in the handicap markets too.
