CHAMPIONS LEAGUE TUESDAY: We preview Tuesday’s games between LEICESTER v SEVILLA and JUVENTUS v PORTO with a recommended BETDAQ bet in both.

LEICESTER V SEVILLA

7.45pm So much has happened since the first leg of this tie! After getting a decent result away from home, Leicester took the decision to sack Claudio Ranieri and while most fans reacted with horror, they have now won their last two games and only a 1-0 win tonight would send them through. The odds at the time of writing currently stand at; Leicester 3.35, Sevilla 2.28 and the draw 3.75.

It seems obvious now that the players wanted Ranieri out, their effort level has jumped and they’ve scored six goals in their last two games. A positive for Sevilla would be that they have also conceded, and an away goal would be huge. Sevilla won’t be too worried about Leicester’s bounce in form though, as they are unbeaten in their last eight games in all competitions – and they bossed the first leg for a large part of the game.

Sevilla’s record away in the Champions League is pretty poor though, as they’ve only managed one win in their last nine – so that puts us off backing them at 2.28, indeed the 2.28 looks a lay. They could approach this one a bit cagey to begin with too, given a draw gets them through. Leicester will have to put in a huge effort to stop Sevilla having time on the ball, however looking at their recent game against Liverpool – that suggests they can do that. We feel the value call is the Sevilla lay at 2.28 – having the draw onside here isn’t a bad idea at all, and with plenty of time to prepare for this fixture given they had no game the weekend, a lot is in Leicester’s favour tonight.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Sevilla at 2.28.

JUVENTUS V PORTO

7.45pm The only team to beat, and indeed score, against Porto in their last six games in Juventus. Porto have scored 18 goals in the other five games and not conceded a single goal – so maybe it’s wise to write off domestic form from Portugal coming into this one. To make matters worse for Porto already being 2-0 behind, Juventus are unbeaten at home in the Champions League since 2013 – that’s not including their impressive domestic home form too! So Porto are massively up against it tonight, and it’s not a surprise to see Juventus 1.75, with Porto 6.0 and the draw 3.75.

On the face of it Juventus at 1.75 looks massive. Especially given their form at home, they just look unbeatable. They warmed up for this one with a 2-1 win against AC Milan on Friday night, but while they do have an impressive home European record – three of their last four have been draws, so that is a negative for backing the 1.75. Plus we all know what Italian teams are like for getting a result by defending. However, under 2.5 goals doesn’t appeal either given Porto will have to pour men forward in the second half if they still haven’t scored, and this could be the winning of the game for Juve. We feel it’s only worth a small bet, but Juventus at 1.75 looks the call.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Juventus to beat Porto at 1.75.
