CHAMPIONS LEAGUE WEDNESDAY: We preview Wednesday’s matches in the Champions League between NAPOLI v MAN CITY, TOTTENHAM v REAL MADRID and LIVERPOOL V NK MARIBOR each with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

NAPOLI V MANCHESTER CITY

7.45pm What a cracker this should be! Since City beat Napoli 2-1 in Manchester, Napoli have drew with Inter and won their other two games – they sit two points ahead of Inter at the top of Serie A, and three ahead of Juve – so this should be a really solid test for City. The market has them favourites to win, but it’s pretty open, the match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Napoli 2.84, Manchester City 2.56 and the draw is 3.85.

It’s fair to say that City’s last two games haven’t been impressive, they beat West Brom at the weekend but they conceded two goals. While before that they failed to score against Wolves in the cup, however they did rest players. They probably couldn’t keep up their goal scoring form given how many goals they were scoring! While we expect a very tough test for City here, with probably plenty of action and goals, it’s very hard to resist backing them at 2.56 – that price looks big given the performances they have produced this season and it’s a price worth backing.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Manchester City to beat Napoli at 2.56.

TOTTENHAM V REAL MADRID

7.45pm Spurs did absolutely superbly to get a draw in Madrid, and it will be very interesting to see can they stop Real winning in London. Real are currently having terrible times in La Liga, losing 2-1 to Girona at the weekend. They now sit eight points behind Barcelona and the league is basically over given it’s not as competitive as the Premier League – that means the Champions League is their only goal now and if Spurs could get another result against them it would be a great achievement.

The match odds at the time of writing currently stand at; Tottenham 3.3, Real Madrid 2.32 and the draw is 3.75. Spurs were disappointing at the weekend when losing 1-0 to United, while West Ham shocked them in the cup before that when coming back from 2-0 down. They desperately missed Kane at the weekend though, and Pochettino has said that he’s “very confident” that he’ll play here – however will he start? We feel that it’s likely he’ll start the game on the bench, with Real missing some players too we feel the value here is with the draw at 3.75 in what should be another very close affair.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Draw at 3.75.

LIVERPOOL V NK MARIBOR

7.45pm We’re sure that all eyes will be on the Man City and Spurs games from the UK this evening, as this game looks a formality for Liverpool. They absolutely tonked Maribor away from home 7-0, and it’s hard to see how Maribor could improve in such a short space of time. Liverpool might not score as many goals as last time, and Klopp may choose to rest a few players given the low quality opposition, however this should still be an easy home win. It’s currently 1.69 for Any Other Home Win in the correct score market and that looks good value, Liverpool should easily get four goals at home to such poor opposition.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Any Other Home Win at 1.69.
