CHAMPIONS LEAGUE TUESDAY PREVIEW: The beginning of the group stages in the Champions League, and plenty of home interest involved this year as all home teams have a great chance of progressing. Let’s see the best bets for the opening night.

PSG v ARSENAL

7.45pm Arsenal were a bit shaky at home against Southampton at the weekend, grabbing a last gasp victory from the penalty spot. They no doubt had one eye on this fixture, seeing it a massive opportunity to get one up on their rivals to top their Group. Arsenal have gone out at the last 16 stage in the past six years, a run they will be desperate to end this season. To give themselves the best chance of bettering this is to win the group, so grabbing something at PSG is a massive game for them. They have an excellent chance of grabbing something from this game, as PSG have had a couple of poor results in a row in the past couple of weeks. PSG have had a change in management as well as losing their talisman from the past few years, so Arsenal should really be looking to catch them out. Arsenal are the best opposition PSG will have faced thus far, so they will be confident in getting something from this game.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay PSG at 2.06.

BARCELONA v CELTIC

7.45pm Both teams are coming off of very contrasting result at the weekend. Celtic recorded a comprehensive victory against bitter rivals Rangers, where as Barcelona were on the end of a massive shock, losing to Alaves at home. Barca rested a couple of players, including Messi and Suarez after the international break, something Luis Enrique came under much scrutiny for. Expect them to come out to make a point against Celtic tonight.

These sides have actually met a few times in the past few years, being in the same group in 2012 and in 2013. With the exception of one game out of the four, Celtic have really put it up to the Catalan giants, even beating them 2-1 in 2012. Unfortunately for Celtic a mirror of that result does not look very likely tonight, expect closer to the 6-1 beating they got the last time the sides met in the Champions League. It won’t be quite that one sided, but it is very difficult to see the Hoops getting anything from this one.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Barcelona -2.5 Goals at 1.74.

MAN CITY v MONCHENGLADBACH

7.45pm Man City have been scoring goals for fun in most of their games so far this season, trouncing Steaua Bucuresti 6-0 on aggregate to reach the group stages. They are coming off a massive win against their local rivals Man United on Saturday afternoon, and will be full of confidence hosting Mönchengladbach tonight. The German’s have had a strong start to their season also, and breezed through to the group stages 9-2 on aggregate. Looking at both side’s form in front of goal you can expect to see goals tonight. Over 2.5 goals is a decent bet, but at 1.48 it is a bit low. As good as man City have been going forward, they still do look a little bit shaky at the back, as Bravo still needs to settle into his new club. With the goals Mönchengladbach have scored, expect them to cause Man City trouble defensively.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Both Teams to Score at 1.66.

BAYERN MUNICH v FC ROSTOV

7.45pm Bayern Munich have been in blistering form so far this season, absolutely blowing away the opposition. Two goals is the closest anybody has come to them so far. Don’t expect the deficit to be any shorter than two this evening, this one promises to be a very one sided affair, where visitors FC Rostov look to spend the full 90 minutes on the defensive foot. With the goals Bayern have been putting past team, look for this one to be ugly for the visitors, better sides have already come up against very bad results against Ancelotti’s side who haven’t skipped a beat since Pep Guardiola’s departure.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Bayern Munich -2.5 at 1.64.
