DIAMOND VALUE IN BETDAQ BET
Give us a break! Not a single winning favourite for six consecutive races at Aintree yesterday and yet the bookies ran for cover and bolstered the total SP to 134% and then 130% and 129%.
They were on the take in the handicaps, of course. Those 130-plus overrounds were in the Foxhunters and the Red Rum Chase.
What does it tell you to expect in the Grand National? As if we didnât know already: when Minella Times won last year, the total SP was 146%. When Tiger Roll won in 2019, it was 163%. Repeat: 163!
The answer, my friends, is a click away to the value intrinsic in the BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE where the offers as total percentages added up per race this morning at 8.30 a.m. to an incredible..
BETDAQ % 106, 103, 101, 104, 107, 104, 104
To get value for money on every horse in every race, be where YOU make and take the offers so you get the prices you want.
Daqman example. Daqman had tough luck with Cat Tiger (2nd 8-1 yesterday) but a BETDAQ diamond shone for him in the last. He had 5.9 morning offers on the exchange about Ashroe Diamond (WON 9-4). Ashroe Diamond put him 3-2 up on Pricewise.
TRONADOR SAVED UP FOR DOUBLE
⚠️ HEADS UP Paul Nicholls got his big winner yesterday, with Clan des Obeaux.
He and Dan Skelton are 128 each for the season but Nicholls leads ÂŁ2.46m to Nicky Henderson on ÂŁ2.23m, Skelton on ÂŁ1.95m, while Willie Mullins (ÂŁ1.62m) and Venetia Williams (ÂŁ1.53m) need the National winner if they are to gatecrash the party.
⭕ 1.45 Aintree (Aintree Handicap Hurdle) Not a favourite in sight, with recent winners at 7-1, 8-1, 10-1 (three), 14-1, 16-1 (two), 20-1, 22-1 and 33-1. Only one winner carried more than 11st 4lb.
Nicky Henderson has won it three times in six years (2013-19), with Gordon Elliott (including when aka Denise Foster) next best on two in the decade.
A huge field today but total percentages for each runner added up to an incredible 106% in the BETDAQ orange this morning, so close to a level playing-field you can have two or three bets and still have an edge.
Fils DâOudairies has class and has suggested he could be a force, switched to Henderson from a moderate spell over fences for Joseph OâBrien. Stablemate Balco Coastal is unexposed but doesnât want too much rain.
The favourite, Langer Dan (Skelton), is fresh, brought down at the second when favourite to go one better in the Martin Pipe at Cheltenham (Cobblers Dream second) after finishing runner-up to the flying Galopin Des Champs last year.
Tronador won this race for Gordon Elliott in 2021; has been saved for it again but is 8lb higher.
Speech Bubble ran second to Love Envoi at Sandown and has been the punt in this during the week.
Betdaq value 5.4 Langer Dan, 10 Fils DâOudairies, 28 Tronador
JONBON AND NO âSUPRISEâ NOW
⭕ 2.20 Aintree (Top Novicesâ Hurdle) The likes of Josses Hill, My Tent Or Yours and Buveur dâAir have won this, among five in the decade for Nicky Henderson. But he lost out to Irish raiders in 2019 and 2021.
Today reads like more of the same with Hendersonâs Jonbon and First Street attacked by Willie Mullinsâ El Fabiolo and Peter Fahey (last yearâs winner) with Suprise Package, who was raised 10lb for âsuprisingâ in the Imperial Cup at 20-1.
Fortune-Cookie Jonbon was second to a future champion hurdler (Constitution Hill) in the Supreme.
But the handicapper has County Hurdle runner-up First Street on a par (both on 147).
El Fabiolo hasnât been seen since his New Yearâs Day romp at odds-on which had Wllie Mullins describing him in glowing terms alongside some of his best novices. Yet heâs now hooded.
FORTUNE COOKIE Jonbon
BRAVE PUNTERS MUST CHOOSE
⭕ 2.55 Aintree (Mildmay Novices Chase) This is a favouriteâs race (four out of the last six), with no winner in the decade bigger than 11-2 at SP.
LâHomme Presse beat subsequent Kim Muir runnerâup, Mister Coffey over 2m 4f at Sandown, then stepped up to 3m+ and beat Ahoy Senor in the old RSA at Cheltenham.
Bravemansgame had beaten Ahoy Senor in the Kauto Star at Kempton on Boxing Day, so only todayâs race can split the two: four-in-a-row Bravemansgame versus five-consecutive LâHomme Presse, both rated 164.
Both are Fortune Cookies so the race is a winner and, betting-wise, a loser for us. As so often in these small-field clashes, you have to take sides, Iâm afraid. At 101% this morning, the BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE market is well on your side!
FAKIR LOOKS WORTH THE WAIT
⭕ 3.30 Aintree (Marsh/Melling Chase) An absolute goldmine this. Seams of fabulous 2m and 2m 4f form represented in the decade by such as Master Minded, Sprinter Sacre, Don Cossack and Politologue.
It used to be won back to back (Viking Flagship 1995-6), Moscow Flyer (2004-5) and Voy Por Ustedes (2008-9) among them.
Joseph OâBrien wants to restore that trend today with last yearâs winner, Fakir DâOudairies, who had been runner-up in the Ryanair, but missed the festival last month to wait for this (or to avoid a clash with Allaho; or both).
You could see an improved performance from flat-track specialist and front runner Allmankind, who skipped round here to win the Old Roan Chase in the autumn.
BETDAQ value 2.36 Fakir DâOudairies, 17.5 Allmankind
SENIOR CITIZEN FOR THE TOPHAM
⭕ 4.05 Aintree (Topham Chase) No successful favourite in sight! SPs from 11-2, 8-1, 9-1, 10-1 to 22-1 even 50-1.
Yet the winning trainers are the usual suspects.. and in doubles and trebles!
Nicky Henderson (three in a row 2013-15), Colin Tizzard at the double (2017-18) and Willie Mullins landing the last two (2019 and 2021), with the chance of a hat-trick himself today.
LâHomme Presse in the Mildmay would boost the chances of Hendersonâs Mister Coffey, but are those chances dimmed by his being second in the Kim Muir at Cheltenham.
Itâs only three weeks ago, and Protektorat couldnât reproduce his Cheltenham form yesterday.
Christian Williams, who landed a one-two in the Scottish National last weekend, has Five Star Getaway likely to set the pace in this.
He held on from Fortescue at Kempton over Christmas and Grand National backers of Fortescue will be hoping their luck continues after their fancy squeezed into Saturdayâs race at the final declaration stage.
Willie Mullinsâ runner is Royal Rendezvous. His chance of the hat-trick with this one may be blighted by the horseâs propensity for jumping right.
Mac Tottie won the Grand Sefton over these National fences (Senior Citizen second) but fell in the Becher Chase. Late-developer Senior Citizen was third in the Topham last year, Snugsborough Hall fourth.
Betdaq value 16.5 Senior Citizen
LOOK OUT BELLO! NICHOLLS AGAIN
⭕ 4.40 Aintree (Sefton Novices Hurdle) If something springs a surprise in this, stay with it. The last two shock winners were Thistlecrack (25-1 in 2015) and Ahoy Senor (66-1 last year)!
Ahoy Senor is, of course, trained by Lucinda Rusell, who saddles Haute Estime today. The mare has been keeping goodish company – Barrichello, Nina The Terrier, Love Envoi – but is bred to do better over this 3m.
Something similar applies to the Martin Pipe winner, Banbridge, the improver Bowtogreatness, staying prospect Bold Endeavour and Paul Nichollsâ Gelino Bello, who won his maiden at Aintree and should respond to this step back up in trip.
Top marks for naming a Mount Nelson gelding Duke Of Bronte but whatâs he doing as a hurdles recruit aged eight. Surely too old to make his mark here. Skytastic looks overrated on what heâs done.
BETDAQ value 6.5 Gelino Bello, 152.0 Haute Estime
HACKERâS HUGE AT BETDAQ 15.0
⭕ 5.15 Aintree Conditionals and amateurs in a huge field for a 2m hurdle. No wonder no outright favourite has won.
🤔 LAYS LOGIC Whizz Kid has beaten nothing well and, if he continues to shorten up, is worth taking on.
Hacker Des Places scored at Chepstow under todayâs claimer before keeping on well, third, in the Imperial Cup behind Suprise Package and Lively Citizen.
Suprise Package could boost the form in the opening Top Novices Hurdle.
Betdaq value 15.0 Hacker Des Places

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….
Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
