IT’S 16-11 AS DAQMAN v PRICEWISE HOTS UP OVER JUMPS: Look out tomorrow! It’s been much closer this season between Daqman and Pricewise, with Daqman leading 16-11, after his best Thyestes bet, Up For Review, was third at 10-1. But Daqman’s Fortune Cookies are 572 points up following Presenting Percy (WON 9-4), in the other big race of the day, the Galmoy Hurdle.

THERE’S A DOUBLE INVITATION TO THE FORTUNE COOKIES: Something could be on the brink of greatness. That was Daqman’s faith in yesterday’s Thyestes, and he believes that both Invitation Only and Up For Review (after only his sixth chase) are worth following as additions to his Fortune Cookies, which have star runners tomorrow.

TODAY: BULL’S-EYE BET AND NAP ON A 6.2 BETDAQ OFFER: Daqman dares a 6.2 nap at Doncaster today, a cracking find he says! So he double dares, and has a win-50 bull’s-eye bet.

A ROCK SOLID START ON TOWN MOOR

12.50 Doncaster The mare Pique Rock is an interesting recruit to fences, two from four over hurdles and three out of five in Points for the Henry Daly stables.

Pique Rock is one of six mounts for Richard Johnson on Town Moor this afternoon, and could get him off to a flyer.

The extra trip, and first-time cheekpieces, should bring about improvement in Ballasalla, a Presenting full brother to 2011 Grand National winner, Ballabriggs.

FIND CRACKING VALUE FROM BETDAQ

1.55 Doncaster Richard Johnson has another decent mount here in Ozzie The Oscar but the Philip Hobbs stable is missing strike badly. It’s last six runners have finished 222302 and favourites from the yard in the last two weeks have recorded 020U042222.

Oscar has had a break since scoring at Cheltenham, which has put him up to 157 and top weight here. You have to decide: is he a flagship that keeps the stable sailing through the doldrums or is it too much to ask for back-to-back wins, giving weight all round?

Forest Bihan has his ground was a useful novice but tends to make mistakes under driving and front-runner Beau Bay will make sure there’s plenty of pressure.

His being in the race sets up Cracking Find, a two-and-a-half-mile horse who has won or been placed in 11 out of 13 chases, and is fantastic value off only 10st at 6.2 on BETDAQ.

Trainer Sue Smith is having a superb season with Vintage Clouds and Wakanda, and I hope there’s more to come from Moonlight Shadow tomorrow.

JESSICA’S (HAT)TRICK OF THE LIGHT

2.40 Huntingdon Jessica Harrington has won five times with Magic Of Light in a tour of major tracks: Ascot, Fairyhouse, Newbury and Punchestown (twice).

‘Magic’ would be giving away from 5lb to 17lb more here, if this mares’ Listed were a handicap, and her opponents have poor strike rates, while she goes for a hat-trick.

Happy Diva has improved just a couple of pound in four outings since November, according to the handicapper. She has beaten only six horses home in winning three small races over the last couple of years.

Casablanca Mix has kept good company but, though intriguing that she returns to her winning track, is just 1-7 over fences in 15 months, and I think this could be an all-Irish affair, with Gordon Elliott’s raider, Synopsis, the danger to the favourite.

Synopsis is half a track in front of Marienstar (yet rated only 6lb higher) on collateral form, and is a definite improver, but has to be. She was a stone and a half off Magic Of Light last Spring.

WILLY WILL RELISH TRACK AND TRIP

3.15 Huntingdon Not Many Left is well related to stayers and Jessica Harrington has him up in trip here in first-time cheekpieces against the unbeaten Court Liability, already a 3m winner.

Potters Hedger looks ready to step up in grade, after a convincing win at Plumpton on the last day, though didn’t beat very much.

Minella Warrior’s big leap in class seemed to find him out in the autumn and Kim Bailey still has him tongue-tied after a wind op.

The Racing Post’s stats service is far and away its finest product and, in a survey on Tuesday, it had Bailey third best at winning with horses after a wind op.

Jersey Bean is up a stone on his 3m Newbury hit in November and pulled up at Cheltenham last time out.

He was a stone better horse than Aaron Lad in November before that one opened up a similar gap – and more! – over Wicked Willy at Cheltenham.

But Jersey Bean has to give weight all round here and Wicked Willy (2-2 at Huntingdon) is now 25lb below him in the handicap, thanks to Jordan Nailor’s allowance.

Jordan has done the steering in two cracking attempts at big prizes around the turn of the year, firstly that third to Aaron Lad, then a staying-on third to Tedham at Wincanton.

I took 8.2 in BETDAQ offers to win Willy, who will relish track and trip. The 2.44 a place acted as saver in a hot contest, from which the first six will qualify for the Pertemps Final at Cheltenham.
